If by Koh Chang nightlife we mean bars with drinks and girls, then this is represented in large numbers on. In its southernmost part there is a large area with two dozen bars. As in all of Thailand, bar waitresses here are girls of easy virtue. The asking price is from 1200 baht per night, plus 300 baht for the bar (the so-called bar-fine).
There are also several bars in the northern part and in the south. In 2013, Volkin Street opened in the northern part. Like hers, there are a dozen bars with girls of both sexes and for some reason a lot of ladyboys. The rest of the area also has a dozen bars scattered along the main road. After, this is the second place where you can find a girl for the night. By the way, many bars have billiard tables to somehow diversify the rest of tipsy farangs.
By the way, if the male part of the population is accustomed to being offered sex services during a massage, then in Koh Chang this is not the case. And don’t even try to take off your panties during the Oil massage, as was the case in . Here they even read a prayer before doing a massage. The fastest way to get to the island is, of course, to fly by plane. Just a 50-minute flight separates Bangkok from the provincial capital of Trat. Flights are operated by Bangkok Airways twice a day, every day. Transfer from Trat Airport to the island, including ferry transfer, will cost you between 280 and 350 Thai baht (depending on the location of your hotel).
By bus
If you want to admire the local scenery, a comfortable bus is at your service. The average travel time is 5-6 hours. From Pattaya - 3-4 hours.

Climate and weather on Koh Chang
Due to its geographical location, Koh Chang is characterized by very changeable weather conditions. Here, as indeed throughout Thailand, there are only two seasons. The greatest amount of precipitation falls on the island from June to October, but from November to May it is dry.
The best time to holiday on Koh Chang is from November to April. At this time, the average air temperature is about 30°C, and not a single drop from the sky will spoil your vacation. The rainiest month is August, during which more than 700 mm of precipitation falls.
Thanks to the influence of the northeastern and southwestern monsoons, the temperature on the island is not too low and at the same time not too high. Most of the resorts on Koh Chang welcome guests throughout the year, but there are also some that close during the monsoon season. At the most popular pier on Koh Chang island, Dan Kao Pier, local taxi drivers will be waiting for you and will kindly take you to any part of the island. At another pier, Dan Kao Ferry Pier, sometimes there may not be any taxi drivers. But don’t rush to despair: 400 meters on foot and you’re at the Dan Kao Pier, where there are more than enough people willing to take you there.
The mountainous and hilly territory of the island is not exactly suitable for hiking, so do not neglect the services of Songthaew. Not only can roads rise, fall and twist, but they can also often be unpredictable. Since the island's beaches are separated by steep slopes and are located far from each other, you cannot do without a taxi.

As a rule, taxis do not travel south on the east side from Dan Kao Pier. Therefore, to get to Baan Salak Phet, you need to take a taxi from Dan Mai Pier or Than Mayom Pier.

What to see on Koh Chang
You can get your first impression of Koh Chang island long before arriving there. From a distance of several kilometers, while waiting for the ferry at the Laem Ngob pier, your eyes will see a picture from the “lost world”, obscuring half the horizon.
