Primorsky Territory is one of the subjects of the Russian Far East, bordering the Khabarovsk Territory, the Sakhalin Region, the People's Republic of China and the Democratic People's Republic of Korea and washed by the Sea of ​​Japan. Almost ten settlements of the region are equated to regions of the Far North. In addition to the mainland, Primorye includes numerous groups of islands. Primorsky Krai has a well-developed network of railways and roads, an international airport and several helipads, as well as sea ports that play an important role in the region's transport links. Primorsky Krai is rich in a number of large and unique deposits of various minerals: fluorspar, tungsten, lead, tin, coal, non-ferrous metals (including silver and gold), boron. Numerous medical and sanatorium complexes operate based on underground mineral and mud springs. The main religion is Orthodoxy, but Old Believers, Islam, Buddhism, the Mormon organization and other faiths are also widespread. The administrative division is urban districts and municipal districts, which include both urban and rural settlements.
The main economically profitable industrial sectors are oil production and transportation, rock mining, chemical production, fishing, and commercial shipping.
Primorye is rich in all kinds of attractions, which attracts a huge number of tourists throughout the year. For example, the fortification museum “Vladivostok Fortress” is a unique military-historical site that has no analogues in the world, and the Shaiginskoye settlement is a natural monument to the ancient state of Jing. The Sukhanov House Museum is the only Far Eastern museum of its kind, the exhibitions of which tell about the life and everyday life of a tsarist official. Railways

Vladivostok, the capital of the region, is reached by the Trans-Siberian Railway, connecting the capital of the Russian Federation with the largest cities in the east of the country. The Ocean branded train runs daily from Moscow to Vladivostok and back. The length of railways exceeds 1,500 kilometers.
