The Bee Gees are one of the most successful musical groups from Great Britain. The group consists of three brothers: Maurice, Robin and Barry Gibb. The number of Bee Gees records sold exceeded one hundred million. The brothers were born in Manchester, but soon moved to Australia, where their creative careers began. At that time they performed at resorts and in a number of TV shows. Soon they managed to sign a contract with a recording studio. But already in 1966, the musicians decided to return to England, where they were able to record several popular hits in the rock genre. By 1970, the band's popularity had declined and record sales had declined significantly. After experimenting a little, the musicians began recording disco music, and this brought them success. The team very quickly gained a foothold at the top of the British charts. For their achievements, the Bee Gees received their star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. In 2003, Maurice died, and the brothers decided to cease the existence of the group. Later, in 2009, they tried to resume their work, but after the death of Robin in 2012, the fate of the group was finally decided.

Italian Bee Gees & Blue Weaver

Italian Bee Gees & Blue Weaver is a large-scale project, initiated by the brothers Walter, David and Pasquale Egisiano. It was they who turned to the legacy of the BeeGees in 2003, meeting brothers Barry and Robin Gibb in Manchester and creating a first-class tribute show together.

Why is it first class?

It's not just about the talent of the participants, but also about attracting the musicians who played in the original BeeGees. These are keyboardist Blue Weaver and drummer Dennis Bryon, known before joining the BeeGees as members of the British rock bands AmenCorner, MottTheHoople and TheStrawbs.

Opinion

Barry Gibb, British singer, composer and producer, one of the founders of the Bee Gees music group: “ They (tribute shows - approx.) keep the legacyBeeGees, because they simply adore their music. There are all sorts of tribute bands, but these are completely different. They don't just imitateBeeGees, but perform their songs for huge audiences with all their heart and soul, as they didBeeGees, and the audience responds with their love with all the passion and enthusiasm

History of the Bee Gees - "Bee Gees"

By the will of fate, none of the greatest groups, such as the Beatles, ABBA, Bee Gees, ever came with their concerts either to Moscow or to Russia in general, in their entire history. But miracles happen, and very soon music of all times and peoples will be heard on one of the most prestigious stages in Europe! Moscow, meet the embodiment of the legendary Bee Gees at home!

Bee Gees - The Bee Gees are a musical group originally from Britain. Its members are these three brothers: Barry Gibb, Robin Gibb, Morris Gibb. One brother is the lead vocalist, the second is also the lead vocalist, the third is a keyboard player and guitarist. These are some of the most successful, most popular, highest paid musicians in the world. The number of sales of their plates has long exceeded 100 million copies.

Barry Gibb is the older brother and was born in Manchester in 1946. Robin and Maurice are twin brothers, they were born in 1949 with a difference of 35 minutes. Previously, he spent his childhood in England, but later the family moved to Australia. And only 10 years later the Bee Gees brothers returned to their home, England, where they began their new life - the life of music, stage and continuous creative process. Their careers are those of rock musicians. But, unfortunately, the popularity did not last long, and after 4 years it completely faded away, and the albums of the Bee Gees began to gather dust on store shelves.

Completely inexplicable, unexpected for everyone, the Bee Gees brothers broke all their addictions, and soon the public saw disco music in their portfolio. Their music began to spread very successfully, their popularity returned, and after the release of the film "Saturday Night Fever", which featured the title song "Stayin' Alive" performed by the Bee Gees. It must be admitted that this composition eventually became the most popular in history young group. They quickly soared to the top lines of the charts and became the kings of the dance floors of Europe, and what can we say - the whole world. It was the Bee Gees who became a living legend of the disco era, as well as the most important stars, without whom Not a single event of the 70s was complete with hits - be it a concert, festival or just a dance evening. Among the Bee Gees' compositions especially beloved by the public was "Tragedy". By the end of the 70s, the Bee Gees received a prestigious award - a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The brothers were awarded the star for their enormous contribution to culture, and in particular to music.

The disco style began to lose its popularity - so the Bee Gees' popularity began to rapidly fall along with the public's interest in disco music. But the Gibb brothers are persistent. They are making every effort to regain their former glory and public recognition. They direct all their attention to rock and roll music, releasing new albums and thereby critics and the public themselves once again turned their gaze to the talented and diversified group of Bee Gees. The last album was released in 2001. And in 2003, the Bee Gees suffered a terrible event: the unexpected, tragic death of Maurice Gibb, the eldest of the brothers and lead vocalist. So the Bee Gees ceased to exist overnight.

Six years have passed, but twins Barry and Robin Gibb cannot sit still. And they decide to continue their common cause - to create and inspire. The Bee Gees are back on stage, but they haven't released any new compositions. And the death of Robin Gibb in 2012 dashed all hopes for a new revival of the group, which became a legend.

55 years have passed since the creation of the Bee Gees. Three brothers managed to become one of the most successful groups on the planet. The Bee Gees achieved success that no one else could achieve. Multiple Grammy awards, multimillion-dollar record sales, their songs featured in timeless films, and they were a benchmark in music and fashion. They are honorary members of the hall of fame not only of the disco era, but in the rock and roll halls. The group left behind music - an immortal creation on which many generations have already been brought up. Unfortunately, Maurice and Robin did not live to see this big date. But there is Barry, even though he said there would be no more Bee Gees concerts. Music does not die, and it brings enormous pleasure to millions of people on the planet, regardless of era and time.

The Gibb brothers, who created one of the brightest musical groups of the 20th century, the Bee Gees, gave their fans an incredible number of hits. And today many viewers want to hear these popular compositions performed live. Fortunately, there is such a possibility. A few years ago, one of the most successful tributes to the legendary British trio, the Bee Gees Show, appeared in Italy. This project is extremely popular; musicians perform with constant success in different countries of the world. And very soon the artists are planning to come to Russia.
