Online check-in for a flight begins one day before the flight and ends three hours on international flights, two hours on domestic routes. Passengers must arrive at the airport check-in counter no later than 30-45 minutes before takeoff.

To complete online registration, you will need a PNR. The PNR booking code in the air ticket received by email is located on the right side in the Booking Reference information field. On the printed ticket, the reservation code is a six-character alphanumeric combination, which is also located on the right side.

When checking in online, you must enter the reservation code, first and last name of the passenger in three information fields. One air ticket can be purchased for several people.

How to carry luggage

The rules stipulate the limits of baggage, baggage, permitted and prohibited items, as well as things that can be taken into the aircraft cabin. The carrier Onur Air prohibits placing jewelry, decorations, documents, electronic cards and other valuable items in luggage. On board you are allowed to carry free hand luggage weighing up to 8 kg, with dimensions up to 25x45x56 cm.

The free checked baggage allowance depends on the fare package and route level - domestic or international flight:

  1. For a simple package 15 kg on domestic routes, 20 kg on international flights.
  2. According to the standard fare plan on Onur Air, you are allowed to carry 20 or 25 kg of baggage free of charge.
  3. For a special fare package, the free checked baggage allowance is 25 kg (domestic flights), 30 kg (international flights).

If you are overweight, you must make an additional payment at the airport. Prices may vary according to the rules of a particular airport. There is no clear table with tariffs for surcharges for overweight on the company's official website; there is no information for passengers in Russian.

For small children, 10 kg of luggage is allowed free of charge. The air carrier may not accept oversized cargo on board if there is no space in the luggage compartment. If there are free seats in the cabin, you can pay for an additional seat at the full cost of the ticket for boarding children, transporting fragile items, or diplomatic cargo. Questions regarding the carriage of items in the aircraft cabin must be resolved in advance at the company’s call center.

Air fleet of low-cost airline

  • 8 Airbus A320 aircraft;
  • 9 – Airbus A321;
  • 4 – Airbus A330.

The average age of Onur Air aircraft is 10 years. At the height of the holiday season, the low-cost airline serves many destinations, owning a small fleet of aircraft, so flights of two to three hours occur frequently. The cabin equipment is comfortable, the layout is as follows:

  • 180 seats on Airbus A320 boats;
  • 196, 204, 219, 220 seats on Airbus A321 airliners;
  • 282, 300, 303, 306, 307, 358 seats on Airbus A330 aircraft.

According to reviews, the free space between seats on Onur Air airliners is somewhat limited. Passengers flying from Moscow to Antalya are offered to purchase tickets for flight 8Q 872 - Airbus A321. The average cost of a ticket in economy class starts from 10,000 rubles, and the flight duration is three hours and fifteen minutes.

Loyalty program Onur Extra

The Turkish air carrier offers to participate in the Onur Extra loyalty program, for which you need to fill out a form on the official website. When purchasing air tickets, bonuses are awarded in the amount of 2%, 4% or 8% depending on the tariff plan. With their help, you can completely redeem your air ticket, as well as purchase additional services to the fare, for example, choosing a seat or meals. You can register for the program at www.onurair.com/en/onurextra.

The airline does not have Russian-speaking staff in its call center. The low-cost airline often cancels and delays flights and does not actively respond to customer requests by email. At the same time, the air carrier serves a wide route network, offers low prices for air tickets and decent service on board.

HELLO, PLEASE TELL US THE RESERVATION NUMBER FOR FLIGHT 8Q1918 ON MAY 26, 2919 AND BACK ON JUNE 2 FLIGHT 8Q917 FOR KUZNETCOV VALERII PASSENGERS. KUZNETCOVA SVETLANA

Good people! never contact Onur Airlines. Having paid money for a flight, they do not guarantee your departure and arrival back. On January 29, 2019, we flew with this company to Istanbul, everything seemed to be fine. But we were not able to return on February 2 using the purchased tickets. The carrier canceled the flight without notifying us in any way. Having arrived at Istanbul Ataturk Airport 3.5 hours before departure, we did not find our flight 8Q-572 on the departure board. They don’t say anything at the airline counters, there are no Russian speakers, they shrug their shoulders and after 10 minutes they send us to the D-17 check-in counter. There is no one there for 40 minutes. There was still no sign of our flight on the departure board. Then the airport staff came up and started checking in for the flight to Dusseldorf. We are sent back to the Onur counter. They shrug their shoulders, but then they say that the flight has been cancelled. The next flight to Moscow is only on February 5th. However, they do not guarantee that we will fly away. They do not provide accommodation or any compensation for any inconvenience caused. We had to go to the quick purchase box office and buy new tickets to Moscow for our set, fortunately they were in stock. Our Russian Aeroflot came to the rescue. We spent $320 for tickets, lost an extra 4 hours of time, a bunch of nerve cells and arriving at another airport in Moscow.

People, avoid this airline!

Vika 15.10.2018

We have a similar situation, we registered and chose seats (10 euros) / person, on Onur, as a result, we were not seated in the registered seats, they said there was no such thing.
In Turkey, we asked to call a Russian-speaking airline employee or just an English-speaking administrator, but the employee refused to do this and behaved rudely.

Good day everyone!
I am outraged by the work of this company. We flew on September 14, 2018 from Kazan to Antalya, the flight was 3 hours earlier, no one notified us about this, but, thank God, the information was posted on the Internet. But these turned out to be nothing compared to returning home. we arrived at the airport with tickets in hand for flight 8Q 873 at 18.50 on September 27, but we were denied registration; at the information desk it turned out that we had been transferred to a flight with a completely different number and were not notified about this either by email or By SMS message. This new flight had already departed at 1am that same day. It was impossible to find a Russian-speaking employee at the airport (and this is taking into account how many Russians visit Turkey every year). With great difficulty and loss of time, we managed to find the Onur Air representative office at the airport. After long conversations on the phone, the employee announced to us that the airline admitted its guilt, they FORGOT to warn us, but there were no free seats to Kazan in the coming days! As a result, we were provided with tickets at the expense of Onur Air to Ufa in 4 days, i.e. September 30. No one was interested in the problems of our residence during this period. On September 30, the flight to Ufa was delayed for 7 hours. Overall result: we sat at the airport for 7 hours, flew for 4 hours by plane, and traveled by car from Ufa to Kazan for 9 hours! We were late going to work! We returned tired and broken!
There are no complaints about the work of the crew, but the company itself treats its passengers rudely! It’s infuriating to be unable to reach anyone at the company’s representative office! This also applies to the company’s representative offices both in Antalya and Kazan (!!!), boorish attitude towards compatriots! A charter is a charter, the risks are clear, but these tickets are far from cheap! It turns out that passengers themselves must monitor not only the postponement of the flight departure time, but also come to Antalya airport with their passports and make sure whether they are registered on the same flight as indicated on the electronic tickets! It would be reasonable then to post this information on the Internet using the passengers’ passport details!
Lucky were those people who flew without incident! But hundreds of negative reviews about Onur Air, with which I agree, allow us to draw one conclusion: Fly Aeroflot planes! And for those who decided to save on charter prices, good luck!!!

Onur Air is one of the most successful Turkish low-cost airlines. The airline, based at Istanbul Ataturk Airport, was established in April 1992. Just a month later, the first flight from Istanbul to the city of Ercan, in Northern Cyprus, was carried out. The airline, which started its business with just one Airbus aircraft, already a year later had 4 aircraft in its fleet, and two years later – already 9.

Brief information about the airline

Onur Air received a significant impetus in its development thanks to cooperation with the Turkish tourism organization Ten Tour, which began in 1994. And thanks to the purchase of the airline by this travel agency in 1996, Onur Air received significant funds for the development of its business.

It should be noted that Onur Air is the pioneer of private aviation in Turkey. It was this airline that opened the first domestic flights within the country after the adoption of the law on private air travel in 2003.

Today, Onur Air operates on 14 domestic and more than 120 external destinations, operating regular and charter flights to 25 countries. Over the 25 years of its operation, the Turkish low-cost airline has served more than 90 million passengers.
