    Dear friends and colleagues!

    Dear friends and colleagues!

We inform you about the special traffic rules that will be implemented in the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah during December 31, 2019 and January 1, 2020:

As the emirate prepares to ring in the New Year with an attempt to break two Guinness World Records for the longest pyrotechnic display and drone display, access to Al Marjan Island will be restricted from 11:00 am on December 31.

The only vehicles allowed access are taxis, Uber, public transport and private vehicles presenting a unique sticker pass (Rixos Bab Al Bahr management will provide upon request for its guests).

At 23:00, all main roads leading to Al Marjan Island will be completely closed. This means that after this time no vehicles will be able to reach the hotels until the roads are reopened around 03:00 hours on 1 January 2020.

    Best regards, Pegas Touristik.

    Dear friends and colleagues!

    Dear friends and colleagues!

BIG5 is a mandatory surcharge (increased rate) applied by the hotel during exhibitions in Dubai. However, this does not provide any benefits for guests, no entrance fees.

The system reflects mandatory surcharges that appear on the guest voucher, even if they do not provide any benefits, they are simply an additional charge for the room rate on certain special dates.

    Best regards, Pegas Touristik.

    Dear friends and colleagues!

    Dear friends and colleagues!

By decision of the Government of the Emirate of Fujairah, due to unfavorable weather conditions, the beaches in this emirate are closed for use for an indefinite period.

Update 11/20/2019: beaches are currently open. However, due to the rainy season, the hotel may decide to temporarily close the beach for a day or a few hours. But these are exceptional situations.

    Best regards, Pegas Touristik.

Hello potential tourists wishing to visit the stunning UAE! One winter evening the thought came to me about whether I should grab a piece of summer with my family? The choice fell on the Emirates. We've heard a lot, but we've never been there. Initially they chose Fujairah, but the operator offered Ras al-Khaimah and 2 hotels - Bin Majid Beach Resort and Bin Majid hotel, citing the fact that Fujairah is very far from Dubai, and from these hotels there are free buses to malls (shopping centers) in Dubai and Ras al-Khaimah...

Hello everyone. We just returned without unpacking our suitcases and sat down to write a review :)) I was in the UAE for the first time, before that I was in Spain, Cyprus, several times in Turkey, in Egypt. We flew Air Arabian. Before takeoff, the captain shouted “Aellah Aekber!” three times. and we flew on an airbus flapping our wings. The flight attendants are quite friendly, there are no complaints about them. Not everyone was fed, but according to some algorithm that only the crew could understand. Moreover, rations varied greatly in content even among neighbors. They didn't feed me...

Finally, we visited the UAE in Ras Al Khaimah. We traveled through Natalie Tours, February 14-21, as a family of three (me, husband, child 1 year 4 months). We flew TransAero, an excellent flight, at the Dubai airport we were frightened by the huge queue for a retinal scan (the procedure is mandatory for everyone), but thanks to our baby daughter, we skipped this procedure altogether. Due to the fact that the child is small, we did not use the shared shuttle bus, my husband and I took a taxi (Toyota Camry) and got...

Hotel reviews 2011 of the year

So I got to this amazing place... It’s impossible not to tell about it, to some the Emirates seem boring and useless, but for example, I fell in love with this country. Kind and sympathetic people, everything is so peaceful and orderly, you won’t find this in Moscow. What would I like to tell you in this review? Perhaps I’ll start with the hotel. Bin Majid Beach Resort 4 1) Green area 2) Quiet environment 3) Own sandy beach (there is a construction site in the distance, but believe me, it won’t bother you at all) 4) No deposit 5) Magic...

Hotel reviews 2010 of the year

This is the most ruined vacation ever. The hotel is just rubbish, the staff is so lazy, I’ve never met such lazy people, there’s a construction site opposite the beach, when the tide goes out into the sea, you’re walking through a swamp. And the Russian guide Olga is a different story, her attitude is “I don’t care how you are here, just for the excursions.” paid, but whether you go on them or not is your problem and don’t contact me with problems, I’m on excursions!” In the evenings there is “live music”, one unwashed and one of the same. Don’t waste your time and money, there is no service and very far from Dubai,...

First trip to the emirates. 2007, December. HOTEL A small, cool little hotel. Everything froze and fell asleep. Even in the evening, when there is live music at dinner, there is still peace and tranquility. Peacocks. Silence. Cool, deep, honestly warm pool. The staff is from Nepal. Quiet, friendly, kind. The vacationers are mainly families with children. FOOD Modest, tasteful. There are too many different sweets, we haven’t tried them all. Quality is 4-star. Buffets are made in a closed...

Come on, Pavel! Perhaps you are used to luxury places and forgot that you went to an ordinary 3*. Or someone deceived you :)) It’s a normal hotel, everything is normal, the place and the food and the rooms and everything else, but it’s not at all such a dump as you described. We were there in the fall of 06, and there really is more than one cafe there. In addition to the main restaurant, where breakfasts and dinners take place, there is a beer bar on the ground floor of the hotel, there is a very nice open-air cafe on a green lawn with sofas and lights... There is an Indian restaurant and a disc...

My husband and I rested in this hotel from October 7 to October 17. I liked everything, everything corresponds to previous reviews. Thank you for not being disappointed thanks to those people who write reviews. The only thing I want to add is that when traveling to the UAE, I advise you to take currency with you in dollars, not euros. Their dollar exchange rate has not changed for 5 years, and the euro fluctuates every minute, which is not very convenient when making purchases. If you have any questions, write to me and I will answer with pleasure. Overall, I highly recommend the hotel for a relaxing holiday...

We recently returned from vacation and would like to share my impressions! Well, I’ll start from the very beginning and with advice!!)))) For those who want to go to the UAE in September, keep in mind that there is such a “wonderful” holiday as Ramadan, which applies not only to Muslims, but also to everyone present in the country! ) Which was a surprise for us!))) So you need to stock up on alcoholic drinks from duty free, despite all the talk and reviews about the fact that alcohol there is not expensive! It's really not expensive there...

Hi all. All the positive reviews about this hotel are a sham. The hotel sucks. 2 stars minus. In this nightmare, my wife and I lasted 2 days maximum; we had to come to the tour operator’s office and move to another hotel, closer to Dubai. There is no territory at the hotel at all after 17.00 there is nothing to do there, you are just in the village, the access to the bay and the pool is also closed. No one from the staff speaks Russian, and English is only 3-level. The woman who was doing the shopping is higher in the review...

Hotel reviews 2007 of the year

I visited this hotel with my wife in mid-December 2007. I hasten to share my impressions about the hotel and the country. Since I haven’t read a single honest review about either one. The hotel is simply bad. Appearance, two-story buildings, wide beach - this is what they write about it. But the fact that right along the beach, in the sea about 1 km away, a dam is being built and you look at it all day and swim in the “appendix”, that there are almost no normal folding sun loungers, and there are plastic chairs, then that in the hotel. ..

The hotel is really not very expensive compared to fours in Sharjah or Dubai. But already on the third day of our stay we very much regretted that we had not taken a more expensive hotel in the above-mentioned emirates. After dinner there is absolutely nothing to do if it is not possible to rent a car. The hotel stands alone on the outskirts. There is no animation as such. A short concert during dinner doesn't count. We were there at the end of April. The sea was warm, but there were a lot of jellyfish. Big and beautiful. But it still didn't feel right...

Yes, I forgot to say: I almost stepped on a stingray once! It swam right out from under your feet), round, flat, the size of a plate, light-colored and not visible on the sand, and its tail is black, like a knitting needle. When I swam, I just saw it... I was scared, I thought - a stingray or a spiketail (whatever is correct)....

Not bad, we were there in the fall of 2007. The staff is very polite and smiling. Cleaning daily, incl. and change of bed. Minibar replenished daily. Just ask for a sea view right away, because there is nothing to see from the opposite side. But for some reason the windows in the rooms don’t open and there’s even a message on them: don’t try... By the way, the mosque only bothers you on the first day - you listen to it three times and you get used to it. In the evenings, however, there is nothing to do - there are only shops around the street: cars and equipment. But for...

We were there from April 27 to May 4 of the seventh year. The rooms are generally not bad, from the first floor there is direct access to the pool, but everyone who is not too lazy walks past the windows, including the staff. In this regard, it was necessary to constantly keep the windows curtained. The air conditioners are antediluvian and make noise all night long, but you get used to it by the third night. The food is disgusting. They try to maintain the rule - every evening - a new cuisine, but most likely, due to the monotony of the second and the uniformity of the first (for dinner), this...

We vacationed in October 2006. I’ll start with the positives: a large beautiful area, very nice, a long beach with good sun loungers and mattresses, a spacious room with a balcony and ratton furniture. The room is cleaned daily and linen is changed too. Individual air conditioning, new plumbing. Delicious alcoholic cocktails at the pool bar. Free bus to Dubai and Ras Al Khaimah twice a week. cons: at first we were placed on the very outskirts in a room without a balcony, after three-DAY negotiations we managed to get that room...

3 stars, no more, no less, a hotel for beginner tourists, I was there in 1996, in 2005 I vacationed in Sharjah in 4 stars, no better, so there is no point in overpaying if you just want to look at a super developed country, buy some digital equipment , to take off half the trip, then go to the Emirates, if you relax in a good hotel, then here it costs from 2500 USD. for a week, so you are welcome to Turkey, Egypt, Thailand, etc. By the way, the safari is just super, I will remember it for the rest of my life, I recommend it....

Of the minuses for each criterion: 1. Staff Please take into account that the Arabs themselves do not work in the service sector. Accordingly, next to you and your children there will be an international community from the peoples of the adjacent countries of Asia, as well as Africa. (This is not a minus, but a note for some). Russian speakers also work here under contract and come in the winter season. 2. In terms of amenities, I lowered the rating - because there is no place to dry wet clothes from the beach, the rooms do not have balconies, the windows open, but there is such noise from the street that you can barely sleep even with them closed (birds are screaming, you can hear cars, some equipment is turned on, It’s like you’re at a construction site). And most rooms have 1 small window. Overall it's a dark room. 3. Cleanliness - the staff does everything to make sure it is clean and it is! But nothing can hide a hotel that has worn out over the years than fresh paint. The furniture, the bathroom itself and the tiles in the bathroom have been updated with paint, which actually shows that the hotel is many years old. The year of its opening is not indicated on the website, on the Internet it’s not ours in a hurry (4. Comfort I can’t separate convenience and comfort, but besides this, we were personally very surprised that 99.9% of vacationers are Russian speakers, our compatriots or neighbors. And the Russians + unlimited alcohol = not always pleasant, especially with children! In addition, it should be noted that almost every family vacations with a child, or even 2, 3. There are really a lot of children (this is also not a minus, it’s just a word). 5. I described the price/quality here, like + 6. Location The hotel itself is 1 hour by car from Dubai, 3 hours by bus, even further from Abu Dhabi. If you relax in Ras Al Khaimah and go on excursions to Dubai and Abu Dhabi, It will be expensive and the journey will be long. It’s easier to spend a few days in the Marina in Dubai and see everything for yourself. There is absolutely nothing to do in Ras Al Khaimah compared to Dubai and Abu Dhabi (and you can’t walk around the city, and better yet, it’s not even worth it!) Relatively beach - even though it is cleaned, it is covered in cigarette butts! And yes, everyone smokes here!

We traveled as a family (a married couple of 30 years old) with small children (2 children under 3 years old). First, about the pros for each evaluation criterion: 1. The staff works great! Everyone is very kind, friendly and caring. All requests are fulfilled quickly and are not left unattended. The rooms are changed every day, bedding, towels are cleaned, vacuumed, even closed cabinets are dusted every day! The animation is all Russian, the girls are great - they conduct quality training, keep children well occupied, and find an approach to everyone, including adults! The food is very tasty! They quickly cope with the influx of hungry tourists, the restaurant is always clean! Marry (the waitress) surprised us so much - she knows all the children, finds an approach to everyone, and gave the children gifts! Super! 2. I’ll tell you about the amenities below. 3. She said about cleanliness - the rooms are clean, the restaurant too! 4. I’ll talk about comfort below. 5. Price/quality Of course, taking into account that food in the UAE is expensive (in Dubai it is 1.5-2 times more expensive, or even more expensive), AI is a lifesaver! So if you are only going to the beach and all inclusive, then this is a great option. 6. The location is good in terms of the beach - the sand is pleasant, the tide is small, the sloping, far-reaching shore is excellent for children (and jumping and swimming through the waves), the water is clean, transparent, without jellyfish (like in Dubai), without any unpleasant or dangerous living creatures.

At times there was weak water pressure in the shower, and a couple of times it stopped running completely. You have to wait a little for hot water to start flowing. During a thunderstorm, the gym was flooded, but the next day it was already open. Another downside for me is the plastic cups for water/juices in the restaurant.

Despite some disadvantages, we were pleased with our stay at this hotel. They met us halfway, and since the room was free, they checked us in immediately, without waiting for 3 p.m. All the staff are friendly. The food is quite varied (not Türkiye, of course 😊). For lunch and dinner there are always chicken, beef and fish dishes, but prepared differently each time; the same with potatoes, pasta, vegetables. I liked that the desserts (cakes) were cut into small pieces, so you could try different ones. The hotel has a company that deals with excursions (trips). Very friendly Russian girls Anna and Nadezhda will tell you everything and give you advice. I also liked the animators, unobtrusive, but also funny. In addition to standard water aerobics and exercises, there is archery, darts, and boarding. And if you book through Booking (on an all-inclusive basis), then you can kayak for another 15 minutes. We found out about this on the last day, because... We were mistakenly given white bracelets instead of red ones. But we still managed to ride, thanks to the animator Naima, for which special thanks to her!

Our room had windows facing the road - noise from the highway and from the air conditioning unit mounted on the ground. Also weak pressure in the shower.

Convenient location (if you rented a car). Good cuisine - the buffet is varied, dishes are brought constantly. I recommend trying an omelette with cheese for breakfast:) The girls at the counter are very sane and ready to help with any question (they brought a sauce recipe, olive oil, etc.). The rooms are clean, the beds do not creak, the sound insulation between the rooms is excellent. The mattresses are moderately hard, there are two pillows each - hard and soft - excellent sleep (despite the noise from the street) is guaranteed:) Water and linen are changed every day. There is a swimming pool. Didn't use it. The sea is good, not deep (about 1.7 m). There is no point in taking a mask - the water is not very clear, there are almost no living creatures (we saw a stingray behind the buoys and that’s all). There are enough sunbeds on the beach, not in abundance, but there was no warrior for sunbeds :) There is a gym - but there are no weights there... there are exercise machines, 2 tracks, and 2 sets of dumbbells. Keep this in mind. Separately, I want to say about the animators - the girls are great! Yoga, stretching and paddle boards (special thanks to Naina) :))) everything was super cool and positive!

Plumbing, little fruit

We were on holiday with our family, we really liked the location of the hotel - first line, 20 minutes by taxi from Ras Al Khaimah airport, compact, very green area, the road to the coastline takes 3 minutes, the sea is clean and warm. The rooms fully correspond to the photographs on the website. The plumbing needs to be replaced with new ones. The hotel staff is friendly and if the slightest problem arises, it solves it immediately. High-quality cleaning every day. The food is varied, but there is little fruit. There is almost no infrastructure outside the hotel. The nearest shopping center is 5 minutes by taxi. The problem of leisure is brilliantly solved by the hotel's excellent animation team. The animation is designed for every taste and age, but of course primarily for children and teenagers. I would especially like to note the work of Naima and Vicky; every day they held various sporting events and played board games with everyone. We bought an excursion to Dubai at the reception from two Russian-speaking girls, Anna and Vika. We were very pleased with the program and the quality of the trip. I recommend the hotel for a beach holiday.

“I highly do not recommend it to people who are unaccustomed to traveling through tour companies.”

  • . Rest

I flew to this hotel by chance, about the availability of business class tickets to Dubai, purchased with miles for these dates a year ago, a month before the flight I was reminded by SMS with a change in the departure time by five minutes. I didn’t want to lose the tickets, it was a pity to pay for the same I didn’t want to change the dates either, so I had to fit into the unplanned budget. I’ll tell you about the hotel: the smell of mustiness is everywhere, all the clothes smell, my wife can’t wash her hair after two times, and the windows don’t open. Under the window overlooking the sea is an alcohol market where “wholesalers” come with licenses up to 24 hours and constantly honk the horn. The pool is very cold, no one swims! The sea is so shallow that after two hundred meters it is knee-deep; it is recommended for children under three years old; there is nothing for an adult to do there. Queues at the buffet, extremely limited choice of dishes, dirty tables, lack of tables. The hotel is 80 percent worn out, for example, our telephone wire was broken....number 217. There are only two elevators, wait for trouble, the elevator is designed for 250 kg. The entire hotel was bought by one of the tour operators, I have never seen so many people staying who do not understand English even at the level of numbers in my life, and no one canceled sandals for socks... Individual travelers are given a red bracelet; in the hotel, except for us, everyone had white ones. There are no Russian-speaking staff, so you use your fingers, a loud explanation in Russian or a piece of paper prepared in advance, and the answer to the question about the room number is simply to answer the GUD. People do not hesitate to scoop up chopped onions with their hands to send dishes, they stand and watch as their child takes them and puts them in place of the sweets... But at the same time, there were no brawls or dead drunks, everything was quiet. Once again, all with your own money.

Value for money, but considering the low price the quality is adequate. Heroic staff who tolerate such guests. Very decent alcohol for the all-inclusive price. Every day cleaning with change of bed linen. There is also a liquor store nearby with cheap prices for alcohol.

Dinner is a nightmare, lines at the restaurant last for two hours..... You can only go to the dining room for “lunch” once, if you had lunch at 12:30, at 15:00 they won’t give you anything to eat, and for dinner there are hungry lines for two hours every day . “Our” people occupy sunbeds both on the beach and by the pool early in the morning, at 9 am there are no free sunbeds!

Good hotel for your money. I vacationed with a five-year-old child and my wife in November for 10 days. Dairy-free porridge and lamb were prepared for the child upon request. For breakfast, the menu is constant, but everything is edible, sausages, cheese, omelet. Lunch is normal, alcohol is generally tasty for an all-inclusive. Dinner is a nightmare, queues at the restaurant last for two hours..... the hotel cannot handle seating guests for dinner at all. There are no animators - volleyball and children's disco 15 minutes in two days on the third. But - sea, sun, beach and "inexpensive" are present, we can recommend visiting.

The hotel corresponds to 4*. The food is delicious, it was not repeated during the 7 days of our stay. Fish, meat (beef, lamb, chicken) - everything is very fresh and tasty! The cakes are soft and sweet. Drinks are unlimited (even alcohol), but we drank tea and soft drinks. The beach is clean, the sea is super!, there were always enough sun loungers. Animation. Every day we played volleyball, rode sab boards, water aerobics, yoga. There is also animation for children. Many thanks to the animators Alina and Lenka (from the Czech Republic). The holiday was a success. Thank you

A few words about the transfer. We flew with FlyDubai airlines. I would like to note that the flight from Ukraine takes 5 hours and do not count on any substantial food on the plane - everything is meager, paid for and quite expensive. I recommend eating either before departure, or be prepared to “pay” 5-10 AED (1AED = 3.6$) for tea/coffee, 20-25 AED for beer or 50 ml of alcohol and 20 AED for an absolutely tasteless sandwich or roll. We did not know this information in advance and boarded the plane without having lunch. And they were ready to buy something to chew when it turned out that of the entire “variety” of the menu, only egg and cheese sandwiches were available: cold, dry and tasteless. And considering that upon arrival you will have another hour or two of transfer to the hotel, you need to think twice about lunch, if this is important to you. Upon arrival, formal passport control, photograph of the iris (you just need to look into the camera for a couple of seconds) and a meeting with the host. By the way, the transfer to the hotel was very pleasing. There were no delays, no one was waiting. And considering that out of the entire plane only 4 people were heading to this hotel, everyone was transported en masse on one bus (Toyota, with air conditioning), and the four of us personally in two brand new Audis. Upon arrival at the hotel, they held dinner for us (and we arrived after midnight). As for organizing the departure transfer, there are some nuances. The return flight was at 9 am and, accordingly, the check-out time from the hotel was scheduled for 3.45 (UAE charter flights usually have to be at the airport for check-in 3 hours before departure). Firstly, naturally no one wants to have breakfast this early, so we asked the reception desk in advance to pack some “small things” with us, to which we received approving “nods” from the smiling administrator. In the end, it turned out a little differently: 10 minutes before the bus departure time, they opened the kitchen for us, where there was tea, and 5 minutes later they brought some more rolls. Making tea with one foot, chewing a bun with the other, and running out to the exit with the third, I had my last “breakfast to go.” By the way, this is not the first time that the receptionists did not fulfill requests (they had to remind us 3 times to bring an adapter for their plug from the socket). "By the way, they came to evict us not at 3.45 but at 3.30, but what is true is true, they honestly waited outside the door for 10 minutes while we finished washing. Here again, a small misunderstanding arose. The person responsible for checking the room upon check-out, during check-out refrigerator/minibar took out a bottle of gin (40 AED) and began to tell me that it was open and supposedly I drank half of it. I did use the minibar, but I specifically paid for everything I took (alcohol was not on this list) in advance at the reception the evening before departure. As a result, after several cold-blooded “no, I didn’t touch it,” the man walked away with the phrase “oh well, I didn’t see anything at all.” A small thing, but unpleasant. The driver of the arriving bus (who was an hour late) almost forgot 2 tourists, not noticing their names on his sheet. Be careful:) Two other passengers were almost dropped off at the wrong terminal upon arrival at Dubai airport. Actually, these are all objective disadvantages. Now about the hotel itself, excursions and other little tricks.
In general, the hotel is not bad (for those who go on vacation outside of the “high season”, and when prices are 30-40% lower than at the given time, there’s really nothing to complain about). The hotel is located at the exit of the city of Ras Al Khaimah. You can't get anywhere on foot except to the next cafe, club and liquor store. A taxi to the nearest supermarket (al hamra mall) costs 15/10 AED (round trip). A taxi to the largest mall in this emirate, RAK Mall, as well as to the bus stop (RAK bus station) will cost you about 50 AED. Taxi to Dubai - 150 AED, regular bus to Dubai - 20AED (on the way back, you can politely ask the bus driver to stop near the hotel, because the way to the city center ras al khaimah, to the bus station still lies through it (accordingly, you do not need to spend additional 50 AED for the journey from the center to the hotel). Finishing the topic about “how to get to Dubai”, I’ll add that buses run from RAK (Ras al Khaimah bus station) to Dubai and back every hour, from about 7 to 21 ( check with the driver/at the cash desk for the earliest and latest time).Continuing the topic about the hotel. There are two types of rooms - cabana and chalet (standard, superior). The first is a kind of house with a small terrace (mainly occupied by non-Russian-speaking vacationers). The second - ordinary rooms in two-story complexes. There is no horror, as some tourists write about, in the cabana. Inside, in fact, the same as in ordinary rooms. And when you come with a group, it’s generally cool to sit on the terrace. A standard room is different improved only by the absence of an electric kettle and tea and coffee bags replenished free of charge every morning. The rooms are clean and cleaned regularly. The bed was changed 2 times during the 7 days of stay. Every day they brought 2 bottles of water for free. The food is also quite decent - a buffet (sausages, jacket potatoes, spaghetti with mozzarella, yoghurts, fruits, sweets - there was everything). The menu did not change radically for 7 days, but nevertheless, the food was really pleasant and appetizing. We took HB meals (breakfast + dinner) and I strongly recommend not to give up this minimum, because there is essentially nowhere to go eat nearby, and it will be more expensive to go to the city center. On Friday and Saturday (these are weekends for Arabs) at dinner there was a small animation in the form of a karaoke singer with a fairly rich repertoire and a pleasant voice and a dancer in an oriental style. This event was held outdoors near a restaurant near the pool. Finishing the topic “about food”. If you go along the road from the hotel to the highway and walk 100 meters towards the city, at the first left turn there will be the only normal alcohol store in the area. Almost everything is available there and the prices, if higher than duty free, are not much higher. In general, resting while drunk and demonstratively “clanging” bottles, especially outside the hotel area, is very unwelcome by Arabs. In the Dubai Metro, a large fine will be issued for such an incident, but in Sharjah they will simply be taken to the police. So gentlemen, be careful. The national composition of vacationers was approximately this: 50% Russian speakers (Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Kazakhstan, etc.), the rest were Germans, Poles, Americans and Indians. The crowd is quite calm.
Well, the most important thing is the sea. The hotel has its own beach. And then I got to see both his “white” and “black” sides. There were always enough sun loungers. It’s really cozy on the shore, despite the construction going on nearby. But there is one thing. This area is subject to frequent storms (usually at night) and after high tides very often brings mud and shells to the shore, many of which are quite sharp. The way out of the situation is to swim in flip-flops (it’s a pity that we only found out about this after cutting our heels :). Again, during high tides, you need to go to the normal depth of 30 meters, if not more. Otherwise, no complaints. If you swim in flip-flops, any weather and situation under your feet will be a thrill. By the way, in the last 3 days, the sea was particularly clean, transparent and the depth was 15 meters, no more. By the way, about the sun. It's really hellishly evil here :) You can burn out in a few minutes, you won't even notice it. Therefore, the recommendation: at least from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., it is better not to show up on the beach at all, even in the shade. But this is only advice from a tourist to tourists, it’s up to you :)
Among the excursions, I recommend a safari and a tour of Dubai (we took it from our own, Natalie Tours, they didn’t regret it). The receptionists were not against changing dinner for lunch on these two excursion days (since departure for the excursion was late).
One more nuance: Internet at the hotel is paid (20 AED per hour). There are cafes in Al Hamra Mall where you can supposedly get a free option.
Verdict - the hotel earns its 4* rating with a solid 4+.
    Meals for 4.
    Location is 5-.
    Beach for 4-.
    Excursions for 5.
P.S. if not CANCER, then in terms of vacation you can still consider Fujairah and Dubai itself (according to reviews of tourists and guides there). Yes, and more. Muslims are a subtle people and they have a bit of a lack of humor. For thoughtlessly throwing out the phrase “bomb” or something similar, one of the tourists during a bus transfer from the airport to the plane, the plane was delayed for an hour in search of the subject of her dark humor. Some of these jokes end in deportation or worse. Draw conclusions. And enjoy your holiday everyone!

    Pleasant and friendly hotel.
We rested in this hotel with my husband and three-year-old son. Either we are not picky, or the lack of rest for several years is making itself felt, but we were absolutely delighted with the hotel, the staff and the holiday in general! The most important thing is that you need to understand where you are going and what to prepare for, in which case the trip will not disappoint. We arrived at Al Maktoum airport, the drive to the hotel is about 2.5-3 hours, traffic jams are possible in the evenings, in general the road is long and tiring. They greet you warmly at the hotel with drinks, or rather juice from the machine, aka the “just add water” yuppie from my childhood. We didn’t meet any Russian speakers at the reception, but even so everything went well.
We got a room on the 4th floor, 409, the room was good, small, everything we needed was there, I’ll attach a photo of the room. The windows looked out onto the road, towards Bollywood, cars often drove, yes, to the liquor store, but it didn’t bother us, in our house it’s much noisier outside the window. The windows are locked, but you can ask them to open them, many did so. We didn’t, after all, he’s a small child, you never know..
Beach. He's gorgeous! The availability of sunbeds depends on arrivals, we had periods when you could come at 12 and find a free one, and there were times when at 7 in the morning you had to run to grab one. But we got tired of it very quickly and just lay on towels further away from people. They looked at us with pity, but in reality it was much better. And the child had room to run around and we didn’t disturb the neighbors by playing ball, and many of the sun loungers are no longer so great and frankly stink. Plus, at 11.00 the bar opened and the aroma of beer, cocktails and tobacco wafted across the beach... Therefore, with a child, it’s definitely more convenient to be on the sidelines, since the beach is large and there is room to stay. You can walk along the beach to collect stars, and crabs live in the rocks. For 100 dirhams you can ride a jet ski for 20 minutes.
The entire hotel area is located in the courtyard, or rather it is a beach, a swimming pool, two lawns and a gym. All this pleasure closes at 18.00, unfortunately, and this is perhaps the only and huge minus of the hotel. The child demanded to “run” in the evenings, but there was nowhere to run except in the parking lot, but this pleasure was dubious. All our evening leisure was walking around the shops, but by the end of the second week we knew the entire range of nearby stores with prices and happily shared our knowledge with our fellow countrymen. There are many shops around. On the left side of the hotel is Bollywood, Centro, Emirates, on the right I don’t know the exact name, but the sign says “from 1 to 20 dirhams”, although of course the prices are more expensive, right if you walk 20-25 minutes there will be Monar Mall, there corrifour supermarket. There is also a children's entertainment center there (this is a matter of evening leisure), but our English is difficult, so they didn’t even bother to come up to find out, although my son really asked. We mostly walked everywhere; according to reviews, I expected highways with crazy traffic, but this was not the case... There are not many cars, compared to St. Petersburg, drivers often let us through, and there were no problems crossing roads at all. There is a beautiful mosque nearby. Many people write that their services are interfering. They really pray throughout the entire area day and night. But we really liked this “neighborhood” and who we talked to at the hotel, too. This gives a simply fantastic oriental flavor and a special atmosphere.
About food. We took breakfast and dinner, all inclusive, it only makes sense to take it if you plan to drink alcohol, a lot of alcohol, then the price is worth it, otherwise you will never spend that money, the difference in cost. Firstly, you don’t really want to eat in the heat, and secondly, the Afghans are cheaper. We dined with them several times, their lula is not tasty, they spoil it with spices, my husband recommends lamb, I recommend red fish fillet (20 dirh), their son’s smoothie (10 dirh). Yes, the place looks very simple, but the food is delicious, the guys are nice and no one had any problems with the gastrointestinal tract. The food at the hotel is superb, I can’t find any other words! The choice is monotonous, but there is so much food that with proper rotation, nothing became boring in two weeks; even after returning home, I prepare salads like theirs, simple and very tasty. They tempt you with sweets! But at dinner, drinks are paid and expensive, a cup of tea from a package is 20 dirhams, + 10% for service. I hope the staff won’t read my review, but we put cakes in a container and drank tea in the room, fortunately there was everything we needed there. At breakfast we also had sausage rolls and muffins, which would pass for a light lunch. We bought juices and milkshakes at the store. Thanks to tourists for your reviews! They are really tasty and not expensive. In general, the easiest way is to make friends with one of your fellow countrymen with all inclusive. and then there will be no problems with drinks and snacks, there are many Russians.
The service and maintenance are wonderful. All the staff are very nice! They really adore the children, they know everyone by name. Tanim is the most important friend of all the children of the hotel, he cuddles everyone, carries them in his arms, kisses them on the cheeks, but I still don’t understand who he works there, he speaks Russian quite well and we turned to him for all hotel issues. For candy. We went to Ramiz’s fur shop, he has a whole vase of them there, they also approached him with all sorts of questions, he always helps, gives advice, and even ordered us delivery from an Afghan restaurant a couple of times when we were too lazy to go. He has lived there for a long time and knows a lot. And so, we liked all the employees, very polite and delicate.
We went on excursions from Coral Travel. To Dubai all together, of course it’s difficult with a group, it takes a lot of time to assemble a group, we were unlucky with a guide, she couldn’t count us correctly, because of this we wasted a lot of time. But when we went to the toilet for 5 minutes, and we warned her, the whole group left... thank God we then accidentally met a person from our group, but I have no idea what we would have done, she didn’t leave us a phone number. We wanted to show the child an aquarium, supposedly “one of the largest in the world,” but in fact the one in St. Petersburg is much better. But in principle, we went through the standard program and that was good! My husband already went on a safari alone, he was disappointed, there is no smell of extreme sports there, but for a fee you can ride an ATV. But I was delighted with the excursion to Abu Dhabi, the organization, the guide, the excursion itself, everything was super. Our family wanted to go to Al Ain, we turned to a private “guide” Shukhrat and this became our biggest disappointment of the trip! He quoted us a price of $300 for our family. He arrived on time as agreed, but along the way it became clear that he didn’t really know Al-Ain or where he was located either. But we were positive, we have a navigator, we’ll figure it out, we thought. In the end, he brought us to the zoo, dropped us off, gave us a phone with a local SIM card and went about his business. I already wrote about our English, we walked around this zoo with grief, zero pleasure. Don’t expect any accompaniment from Shukhrat, as he himself admitted, he only “drives” and in general it was we who misunderstood him and misinterpreted his message. To be honest, the day was ruined, I cried. We went back to the hotel. Upon his return, the husband, as an honest man, offered to reimburse part of the expenses for gasoline, although he should have been sent to hell with such an “excursion”! I demanded half the price... and I would have liked to argue, but after six hours of travel I had no strength left. Well, okay, a family, a person has three children. But for me, you either have to work well or not at all! in this case, it’s an absolute “no way”!
Of course, individual excursions are very convenient, but you must approach the choice of a guide with caution and responsibility. Unfortunately, we were unlucky, but this has nothing to do with the hotel.
I recommend the hotel to families with children and those who want to simply relax passively, lie on the beach and have a delicious meal.
