Tsarskoye Selo fiolent how to get there by bus. Cape Fiolent (Crimea) - how to get there, beaches, photos, videos, interesting features. Dachas with a claim

“Monastery Rock”, “Cape of the Virgin”, “God’s Country”, “Tiger Cape” - all these names belong to an amazing place on the western coast of Crimea under the modern name Cape Fiolent. The opportunity to relax surrounded by rocks rising into the sky, feel the aroma of pine needles and the sea, and visit places covered in legends attracts modern tourists here and can rightfully be called. A short essay:

Where did Cape Fiolent (Crimea) come from?

It is believed that this coastal area at a distance of 10 km is created by solidified lava of the volcano. Therefore, in the thickness of the rock, brick-red rock and dark layers of tuff interspersed with jasper, chalcedony, and sometimes carnelian alternate in multi-colored stripes. Over many millennia, the rocks were destroyed under the influence of sea waves, sun and wind, forming bizarre stone figures, grottoes, and small caves. The surface was covered with limestones of the Heraclean Peninsula. The lands around are overgrown with pine and juniper trees. The glades were covered with steppe grasses. Cape Fiolent - beaches with photos, map, video

Several convenient “wild” and not so bays along the cape, created by nature itself, are today used as.

Jasper Beach

Cape Fiolent is known primarily for this luxurious place. A very famous beach where bright minerals are found among the gray pebbles. Hence the unusual name - Cape Fiolent.

How to get there?

Closest to it. Cape Fiolent can be visited directly if you take bus No. 3 from the TSUM stop in Streletskaya Bay (Vakulenchuka, Repina). If you are leaving from Belbek airport, you first need to get to the bus station, and then take route transport No. 110, 107, 109 to the Central Department Store. You can also take 117 to 5 km and take minibus No. 3 or 3a, which goes straight to the St. George’s Monastery stop.

It is more convenient to get from Balaklava by sea. Boats come here regularly throughout the season. And every two hours, the motor ship “Diana Trivia” delivers vacationers.

This monastery was built in 891. as a sign of gratitude after the miraculous rescue of Greek sailors who were shipwrecked in coastal waters. A raging storm carried them to the rocks. Having climbed onto a small stone island, the sailors cried out to God for help. The appearance of St. George the Victorious pacified the storm, and they swam safely to land and named this place Cape Fiolent. The monastery on the edge of the cliff and the rock in memory of the Holy Apparition with a seven-meter cross are reminiscent of those distant days.

The monastery has an observation deck. From here you have a breathtaking view of the sea. A feeling of human smallness comes over us compared to this block of water. The piercing wind and rolling waves complete the picture and recall another meaning of the name Fiolent - “Furious”.

There are stairs leading down to the beach. It was built 1000 years after the founding of the monastery. The 788 steps can be climbed slowly. There are benches for resting. But, nevertheless, to hike in the mountains you need to have comfortable shoes and go down only on certain paths. An attempt to take a direct shortcut may lead to the need to call the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

The size of the beach is 500m. It is clean and not many tourists. It is prohibited to rest with tents, and it is also not customary to make fires.

For comfortable relaxation, stationary canopies are provided to create shade. There are changing cabins on the beach. Sun loungers are available for rent. You can have a snack or quench your thirst in a cafe or bar.

In addition to beach holidays, there are activities on the water. This includes riding bananas and cheesecakes, motorcycles and catamarans. Jasper Beach provides an opportunity to relax comfortably and at the same time touch the preserved wild nature.

Beach under the Lighthouse

To get to this beach you need to get off at the “Mayak” stop. The descent to the sea is very steep. The path is equipped with special cables. Rocks are perched along the 1 km bay. Lots of big stones in the water.

Avtobat Beach

The bus stop has the same name. There are two beaches here. One is paid. This is a small pebble beach. The descent to it is along an iron staircase through the rock.

The second one is free. Known as the most extreme. A difficult and dangerous descent along a narrow mountain path runs along a steep slope and ends with an almost vertical staircase. What attracts here is not the beach holiday, but the opportunity to dive from a height. At the same time, you can admire the beautiful grotto, which creates an enclosed bath in the limestone rock.

Caravel Beach

Bus stop "Karavella". This is a stone beach combined with pebbles, stretching for 200 meters. The path to it goes from Cape Lermontov, and further along the coast. Or the second way, as usual, is up the stairs. There are few people here. The water is very clean and perfect for snorkeling.

It is from this beach that a very beautiful view of Diana's grotto opens. This is a volcanic rock that protrudes from the sea several hundred meters. There is a through grotto inside it. Its width is about 15 m. The water temperature in the area of the grotto is colder, since little sun gets here. The staircase that used to be used to descend to this grotto was destroyed by a landslide, so you can only get here from the Tsarskoye Selo beach. But difficulties do not frighten those who like to dive and snorkel in the beautiful underwater world.

Tsarskoye Selo Beach

It is located on the other side of Cape Fiolent not far from Cape Lermontov. The entire territory occupies 300 meters, the beach is covered with small pebbles. Access to it is free. A very successful descent goes to the cliff, and then continues with a 5-meter wide path and ends with a convenient metal staircase with 180 steps. The entire journey will take no more than 10 minutes. There are places with shallow and warm sea. It is considered the best place - the easiest way to get here is the descent is long, but quite manageable for small legs.

Cape Fiolent is located just 15 km from the city of Sevastopol. These unusually beautiful places are described in ancient myths. It is believed that it was from these places that Apostle Andrew the First-Called began his preaching of the Gospel. These landscapes became the inspiration for the paintings of I. Aivazovsky and V. Vereshchagin. The steep cliffs against the backdrop of the sea still impress everyone who decides to visit here. These places are not for spa lovers.

If you are vacationing in Sevastopol or its environs, be sure to find time for the Tsarskoe Selo beach on Cape Fiolent. The holiday here is truly royal - the clearest sea, picturesque cliffs, including the famous Diana's grotto.

Cape Fiolent is one of the natural attractions of Sevastopol and many tourists come here every year in the summer. Despite the fact that it takes a long time to get to the sea along steep paths and stairs, the beauty of this place and the purity of the water compensate for all the inconveniences:

Tsarskoe Selo Beach - how to get there?

If you are driving your own vehicle, then you need to get to the most protruding part of Cape Fiolent, leave the car there and start descending to the sea along this wide path:

At the end of the path it turns into an iron staircase:

Those who intend to travel here from Sevastopol by public transport need to get to the 5th kilometer and take minibus No. 3 going to Fiolent to the Tsarskoe Selo stop, from there on foot to the sea.

About halfway up, in front of the stairs, there are some amenities of civilization - a mini-cafe and a shop:

Photos of Tsarskoye Selo beach on Fiolent

The place itself, which received this sonorous name from the village above, is small and looks like this:

This place is not suitable for savages who prefer to camp with a tent - there is no access by car, there is very little space, and you cannot count on privacy.

The shore is pebble, covered with medium and small pebbles, mostly dark in color:

The bottom is also pebbly. There are many large stones in the water and on the shore. Nudists sometimes sunbathe behind the rocks bordering the beach.

Here is Diana's grotto, on the other side of which there is a very small Tsarskoe beach, and immediately behind it begins the Tsarskoe Selo beach:

Unfortunately, from the side of the coast about which the story is told, Diana’s grotto is not visible, it is approximately where the sun sets:

But it is quite possible to swim to it and swim through this natural tunnel, which is what many do.

The way back up is even less pleasant than down, but the pleasure of swimming and the beauty of the Crimean nature compensate for everything.

In general, this place is not very suitable for families with children and those who have problems with the musculoskeletal system. We highly recommend it to everyone else, and especially those who want to lose extra pounds during their vacation. Moreover, it is better for the latter to settle nearby and walk up and down every day. On Fiolent there is housing for every taste and budget, from inexpensive rooms in the private sector with amenities in the courtyard, to completely modern rooms with everything you need.

About an hour away by public transport, there is a stunning natural attraction, a place where the steep coast meets the azure sea waters.

All this is Cape Fiolent! The main wealth of Fiolent are the beaches with crystal clear and transparent water.

Arriving in Sevastopol, not a single tourist will bypass Cape Fiolent (Fiolent). And many people go to this point just for these beaches, and most importantly for the clean sea water, swimming in which is pure bliss.

So we couldn’t drive past Fiolent and looked at its beaches!

Fiolent is not just a name, but a very specific place marked on the map. Although local residents call Fiolent not only the cape we are talking about in this article, but the entire surrounding territory, Cape Fiolent is still a specific point.

There is one road along the coast of Fiolent, along which on one side there are picturesque beaches with steep shores, and on the other there are private sector buildings.

Approaching the edge of the cape, a stunningly picturesque area with dizzying views of azure water opens up to your eyes.

Fiolent beaches

The beaches of Fiolent are mostly wild, the slopes to the beaches are mostly steep and rocky, in some places they are equipped with steps; you have to walk about 800 steps; this is the most famous beach of Fiolent - “Jasper”. And sometimes the descents to the beaches run along steep paths right along the steep shore. To make the descent more convenient, people even pull ropes.

For example, the stunningly beautiful beach near the Fiolent tourist center. At first glance, the descent to the beach may seem difficult and even dangerous.

But believe me, it's worth it. When you go down, you will be rewarded: on one side you are surrounded by steep overhanging cliffs of the cape, with huge stones, it seems as if one of them is about to fall down, and on the other, there is a stunningly clear endless sea.

Difficult descent, this is only the first time. Having gone down and up here and there a couple of times, the descent becomes familiar. People, even with very small children, are already running down to the sea and even manage to take a couple of photos along the way.

Advice! To approach the sea, wear comfortable shoes and backpacks so that your hands are free.

During the descent or ascent, you can enjoy ripe blackberries and drink delicious spring water from the springs.

There are also beaches:

Wild beaches under (or near) the Lighthouse;

The aforementioned Jasper. The most famous beach of Cape Fiolent, located near the stop Fiolent (or Monastery), landmark St. George's Monastery. The beach is widely known for its colorful pebbles, also called jasper, hence the name of the beach itself. The beach has some infrastructure. There is a nudist section of the beach;

Tsarsky. Located near the holiday village “Tsarskoe Selo” (Tsarskoe Selo stop). Descent to the beach along an iron staircase with about 150 steps;

Wild beach behind Cape Lermontovo, under the Karavella recreation center. Stop at the Karavella recreation center.

Next to the previous beach there is another wild beach (mentioned in the article) under the Fiolent recreation center. And other wild beaches.

You can see that Fiolent has both wild and less wild, equipped beaches. However, the steeper the descent and the less landscaped the beach, the fewer people on the beach, which means the water is cleaner and easier to breathe. After all, this is exactly why we all come to Fiolent!

All the beaches are located close to each other, you can easily walk there, and sometimes you can even confuse one gorgeous beach with another.

Right on the wild beaches, people set up tents, stretch out awnings, bring boats on which they go out to sea, catch fish, pick mussels on the rocks, and spend their holidays this way. I think it's very romantic.

For example, on the wild beach near the Fiolent base, on this “Big Stone,” as the locals call it, they pick mussels. They dive with a knife, collect them, and then fry them over the fire. Delicious.

On the slopes, in the cliffs of the cape, there are small recesses; lovers of wild tourism also settle here.

In general, campers stop wherever they can find a more or less suitable place to place a tent.

And here are several tents set up on a small sloping ledge, on the descent to the wild beach.

Having seen such a vacation, we also wildly wanted to devote another week to this “wild” and beautiful life away from civilization. Swim, sunbathe, drink spring water, collect mussels, fish, and then eat your catch, cooked over a fire.

Sea on Fiolent

As has already been said, the Fiolent Sea is of stunning beauty and purity. Swimming in it is a pleasure.

The entrance to the sea on wild beaches is rocky, the pebbles are quite large and slippery, covered in some places with algae, which is not very pleasant for the feet. All this is not scary and you quickly get used to it, you just need to be careful when entering the sea. We took a couple of steps and immediately began to swim. It’s better to have special slippers for swimming.

In general, we can talk about the delights of Fiolent for a very long time, but it’s time to wrap it up. Better come and experience all the charm of this stunning place for yourself. For us, after a long journey along the coast of Crimea (from Feodosia), Fiolent became simply a godsend and an outlet. Believe me, Fiolent, this is one of the few and best places in Crimea!

Finally, a few more words, purely informational and auxiliary - how to get to Fiolent, the store on Fiolent and where it is better to stay.

How to get to Cape Fiolent from the center of Sevastopol

Cape Fiolent can be reached both by public transport and by car.

By public transport:

Up to the 5th kilometer by bus or trolleybus. There are many buses and trolleybuses running from the center of Sevastopol to the 5th kilometer. For example, by bus from the center or from the bus station without transfers. You can get from the center by trolleybus No. 12. Travel by bus costs 13 rubles, by trolleybus 10 rubles (prices are indicated at the time of writing). In any case, the easiest way is to ask the drivers: “How can I get to the fifth kilometer?” Drivers are happy to give advice.

From the 5th kilometer, bus No. 3 will take you straight to Fiolent. There is a queue for the bus. In summer there are a lot of people with backpacks, you can’t go wrong.

Attention! You need to pay attention or ask the driver that the bus goes specifically to Fiolent, the landmark is Mayak.

By car or taxi:

By personal car you can take the same route of the 3rd bus from the 5th kilometer, near the Kalfa Cemetery along the main road without turning anywhere, there is only one main road.

Or from the Gagarinsky district along the T2703 road.

You can also easily and quickly get there by taxi. You can order a taxi/transfer on the website in advance. At any time of the day, a driver will be waiting for you.

Sevastopol itself can be reached by car. And the fastest way is by plane to Simferopol, and from there the most convenient way is by bus to Sevastopol. By train using a single ticket to Krasnodar or Anapa, then by bus to Sevastopol. Or by buses, trains with independent connections. In all directions, with the exception of the plane, a single Russian Railways ticket and the route through Ukraine, do not forget about independent travel. The cost of crossing a passenger car is 1,700 rubles one way, passengers 150 rubles one way. The ferry operates 24 hours a day. Further from Kerch also by buses to Sevastopol.

Shops on Fiolent

Small shops are located along the road to Fiolent, mostly at stops. In these shops you can buy all the essentials, drinks, alcohol, bread, milk, sausages and other products.

Prices in stores in Fiolent are slightly more expensive than in the city. So, it’s better to stock up on groceries in advance, while still in the city. For example, at the same 5th kilometer, there are many stalls and a market with quite reasonable prices.

Where to stay in Fiolent - hotels, guest houses and private accommodation

Fiolent is a low-key private sector, consisting mainly of gardening (dacha) partnerships. Currently, pieces of land continue to be bought up and built on.

Many country houses have already been converted into guest houses. Private owners also rent out rooms to vacationers. There are also many tourist centers. You don’t have to book rooms in advance, but when you arrive, walk through tourist centers, guest houses or the private sector, looking for “Housing for rent” signs and rent housing on the spot.

However, during peak season, there may be no available rooms upon arrival, or the most unsightly and expensive ones will remain.

You can, of course, stay in Sevastopol itself, but the beaches and sea in the city were nowhere near the beaches of Fiolent. But we all go to the sea, first of all, because of the sea itself. Moreover, there is nothing special to see in the city; one day was enough for us to see the main attractions of Sevastopol. And the fabulous Fiolent, with its clean beaches, mirror-like sea and fresh air, has become exactly the place that is so lacking in big cities.

Here are some good options for accommodation on Fiolent.

Greetings, friends!

Keep this season's hack on how to impress your colleagues in the office. Show a photo of your vacation from a picturesque coast covered with “precious” stones and give everyone a piece of a souvenir, casually saying - this is white agate, this is malachite, and this is jasper interspersed with golden pyrite.

And meaningfully add - what did you want, these are Cape Fiolent beaches of the wild Crimea, and not some Bali!

And the story is about whether it is possible to gain or lose the remnants of health, going down the stairs of the same name to the treasured beach, and Which rock is better not to look behind? , so as not to run into nudist tourists, leave it for your beloved mother-in-law.

And now in more detail about what awaits you on the beaches of this amazing cape!

I’ll say right away that these places are for true connoisseurs of wild beauty, and not banal embankments and tented cafes with sandwiches and pesticides in glass containers.

When you stand on the edge of the cape and look around at the unconquered kingdom of gray rocks, multi-colored stones, rugged coastline, blue sea and raging greenery, it is not just breathtaking - Pushkin wakes up in his soul with his “Lukomorye” . For people of creative professions, rhyme flows, accompanied by short-term retreats into the subconscious.

By the way, there is a gazebo named after him, a scientist cat lives at the monastery, and only the top of the oak tree remains.

Having inhaled enough of the pine aromas and recovered from the fabulous allegories, you need to go down to the sea. After all, our goal is to explore the Fiolent beach area and stock up on unique souvenirs of volcanic origin - natural ornamental stones.

general information

You will have to get to the beaches of Fiolent either along steep stairs and paths, or by sea by regular or rented boat from Balaklava, Sevastopol. The coastline, limited on one side by rocks and mountain embankments, has allocated uneven space to the beach areas - some of them are completely narrow and rocky, others are wider and more comfortable.

Beaches are scattered over 7 km along the coast. Due to their inaccessibility, they are predominantly wild, without any infrastructure.

But this is precisely what makes them good - the sea here is incredibly clear, simply a paradise for scuba divers. You can stop for a few days, just get some food or find a shop on the cape itself.

But even here there are places adapted to the needs of vacationers with a minimum set of services. So don’t be afraid – you’ll only find yourself on a completely deserted beach alone with seagulls, jellyfish and lonely nudists long before the swimming season opens.

Time to collect stones and test the ladder of “Health”

Most popular among holidaymakers Yashmovy beach , so named because of the composition of the coastal covering - pebbles mixed with pieces of jasper and other residual rocks of natural origin.

The site, about 450 meters long, is equipped with canopies, cafes and sales tents, a rescue point, changing cabins and a shore crew for receiving boats from Balaklava.

This is where brave sailors catch the wave and risky passengers:

Here you can rent a sun lounger and umbrella, ride a catamaran or take part in water attractions.

The beach is pebbly and rocky; near the shore and at the entrance to the sea you will also find stone scatterings and piles. Be careful – it’s very easy to twist your foot on slippery rocks.

You can get to Jasper Beach from St. George's Monastery , going down staircase "Health" with a length of just under 800 hundred steps ( if you get bored, start counting the steps, for some reason you get a different number of them each time).

Some people really like this kind of training, but if you can’t stand the heat well or have health problems, then it’s better to take care of yourself.

Another option is to go here with the breeze on a boat that regularly runs from Balaklava and Sevastopol. I wrote more about boats in .

If you travel in your own or rented car, then it is not yet clear what to do with your gasoline friend.

Previously, you could go to the observation deck at the cliff. There was a clergyman who “accepted donations” for parking in the amount of 50-100 rubles. One time they even gave me change from 1000 rubles)) You park the car and go up the steps singing a song!

But it was not there. On February 1, 2019, a new park at the St. George’s Monastery was put into use. It has 55 parking spaces. What will happen there during the season is not yet known.

Royal holiday for savages

After Jasper Beach in an easterly direction, going around a rocky ledge you can get to a small wild beach, closed on three sides. Nudists often relax there. ( So, in tribute to tradition, be prepared to remove your swimming trunks at the first whiff))

It is small, only about 300 meters. The place is picturesque, but the shore is covered with large pebbles and stones, as is the entrance to the sea. There are no amenities along this stretch.

To get here, you need to go down a path that will lead you to a fairly steep staircase. It has about 200 steps. Passage with small children is possible, but under the supervision of experienced adults. And don’t forget to take sunscreen and a supply of drinking water with you. There are no particularly antipyretic shelters here.

You can get to the beach area from the parking lot at the observation deck (there are signs right on the highway) - 800m or by leaving your car at the entrance to the Tsarskoye Selo station - 1.5km. Entry to the territory of the cooperative is only with passes. Local residents and tourists renting from them have them. But the passage is free.

A combination of wild nature and abandoned projects from the 90s

There is another famous beach on Cape Lermontov - "Caravel" . Once upon a time there was a recreation center of the same name nearby. For now it is a wild natural beach with sections both pebbly and completely rocky.

It attracts diving enthusiasts, artists, photographers and simply curious tourists. The fact is that there is a beautiful underwater grotto called Diana's grotto . And in the rock you can see an abandoned tunnel, which was built for a comfortable descent, but was not completed.

The coastline is narrow and very rocky, with small pebble areas. Vacationers sit on boulders and rock fragments located directly in the water, and enjoy jumping from them into the clearest waters.

You can get here again by going down the stairs, which were recently restored. But, as far as I know, there is no free access to the base today, only by swimming from Tsarskoye Beach. Although locals point to a nondescript path just to the left of the main entrance to the recreation center.

In general, the whole story with the Caravel base is murky. Read this - primechaniya.ru/home/news/10212/10445 .

But, it seems, everything began to improve - photocrimea.com/?p=1968 . There may be access for citizens, although not free.

With a tent and provisions for several days

The beach at Cape Bronevoy often becomes a haven for tent camps. In fact, it is located in the bay between Cape Vinogradny and Bronev, but bears the name of the latter.

The coast here is mostly rocky. Mountain mounds rise all around, rocky ledges jut into the sea, and the green vegetation, although not lush, pleases the eye.

As you understand, the coast is absolutely wild, and in order to replenish water or food supplies you will have to climb back.

Located next to recreation center "Fiolent" , but the descent to it along a narrow, steep path is not easy.

What kind of "Mayak" is that?

Another wild popular beach in the area stop "Mayak" . There is a narrow, steep path leading to it, and the coastline is narrow and rocky. But diving into the clear water, you will contemplate the walls of green hills on the shore. And there is a surprise here - a small shallow area with a pleasant sandy bottom.

My youth was spent in these waters, so that not a single sandal was trampled on the way up and down. Despite the steepness of the cliff, the descent and ascent are not particularly extreme and many people even go here with school-age children. There are also plenty of people who like to catch seafood delicacies: mussels and rapana.

In summer, these places are very popular, so don't hesitate in the morning. And, of course, take comfortable shoes with you. Without it, the descent will turn into flour. The photo and description of the descent were described very well by a colleague in this review - otzovik.com/review_5118357.html

You can get here with your own car, leaving it in a spontaneous parking lot at the top or by bus from the 5th km or from the TSUM stop in Sevastopol. At the stop itself there is a shop and a small cafe. So, if you forget to buy water and Snickers, you don’t need to come back.

Where else can you visit in the vicinity of Fiolent

From “Mayak” towards Sevastopol there is the next descent to the sea at STK "Squid" , which is closed to mere mortals. But stk is not cool, so it was renamed an elite cottage community "Villa del Mar" . The place is controversial and not entirely “transparent”. But this is already a matter for residents and buyers.

There is also access to the beach in the area stop "Avtobat" , this is the outskirts of the western part of the cape at the beginning of Fiolentovskoye Highway. There are two options here - go down the stairs, or test your gut and go to the nearby wild beach, using a narrow, steep path ending in a vertical staircase.

There is no free passage to the first beach of “Avtobat” with a normal descent, since there is a door with a “golden key” and outsiders are not allowed here. Local residents must purchase keys from hotel owners, who restored this staircase at their own expense. The cost of a key last year was 1000 rubles per season. Tourists can stay in one of them Sali or Figs and they won’t have any issues with access to the beach.

Tall walls of layered rocks rise above the beach, and the area itself is not very spacious. However, the place is very secluded, and the clear sea has a gentle entrance and shallow depth over a sufficient length.

What else you need to know about the beaches of Cape Fiolent

In their reviews, vacationers give several warnings. For example, access to all Fiolent beaches requires physical effort. Unless you use water transport, which will take you to the desired shore and take you back.

Be sure to have comfortable shoes, both for mountain descents and for swimming.

It is also worth keeping in mind the seismic instability of the area. It’s difficult to make any forecasts, but in 2016 this happened:

On Jasper Beach, if necessary, you can buy an extra bottle of water, some kind of snack, or hide from the sun’s rays under a canopy or umbrella, whereas on most other beaches you will not find such luxury.

Prices for accommodation, food and entertainment (water attractions) are cheaper than in Sevastopol and Balaklava. But there won’t be a large selection of cafes and menus from world cuisines either.

How to get to the cape

On your own - from the Sevastopol bus station to the bus stop "5th km", then by buses No. 3, 19, 79 to your destination. If you want to be closer to civilization, your stop is Monastyrskaya . Here you can rent housing and it’s just a stone’s throw from Jasper Beach.

By car, the road to Fiolent from Sevastopol will take 20-30 minutes.

By sea: by boat from the central embankments of Sevastopol or Balaklava. During the season they run on schedule. Cost from 150 rubles one way.

And keep in mind - if the beaches of Fiolent do not conquer you, then in just half an hour you can reach the shore or. There's definitely room to stretch there!

Tired of the same coastal recreation areas within the city? You have a great opportunity to visit a unique place and plunge into the atmosphere of legends by staying in a “country” untouched by civilization. These are the luxurious and alluring beaches of Cape Fiolent in Crimea near Sevastopol. They are diverse, different from each other, picturesque and enchanting. The Black Sea here turns into a surprisingly blue mirror of water, which amazes with its purity and snow-white surf foam. Pebbles, sand, bizarre rocks and marvelous plants - welcome to the mysterious corner of Crimea, where we will take you on a tour.

All beaches of Cape Fiolent

Photo of Jasper Beach - the most comfortable on Cape Fiolent

This small beach is located almost at the very end of the summer residents’ village, near the Monastery (Fiolent) stop, near the famous St. George’s Church. His calling card is colored pebbles, which today are called jasper. True, this is not so, this mineral was mined on the cape earlier, but even today the sea can bring such a specimen to the shore.

Jasper Beach is fully equipped for tourists, delighting them with beautiful sea panoramas and intricate piles of stones. Cafe, rental of umbrellas and sun loungers, toilet - there is everything you need for a comfortable stay. If you climb the stairs, you will get to the St. George's Church.

Royal Beach

Tsarsky Beach on Cape Fiolent is located on the western side of the cape, directly next to the Tsarskoe Selo settlement. You will also have to go down to the coastal area via steps, although the string of them is much smaller - only 150 pieces. The beach is not very wide - up to 15 m, and the length is 200 m. It is completely covered with pebbles, and there are large boulders and sharp pebbles. It is better to walk here in special shoes. The entrance to the sea is not entirely flat. The bottom is more relief than on Jasper Beach. There are small cafes on the shore where you can have a snack and quench your thirst.

Lermontov Beach

It is located directly in the western part of the cape of the same name. You need to get off at the stop of the recreation center "Karavella". The cape slightly resembles the head of a crocodile, which is why it is sometimes called that way. The beach is picturesque; it is divided into two sections. The first is a rocky coastal zone, it is narrow and adjacent to the grotto. You can get down here from the top of the cape. The second is the beach behind the rock itself. The path here runs along the stairs (metal), and then along stone ledges. Getting here is not easy, you need to have a certain skill. But you’ll definitely feel the adrenaline as you grab the taut ropes that insure the tourists!

The coastal area is covered with large pebbles and impressive-sized stones; special thick shoes will be useful. The water is very clean, but the scorching sun will appear here only after 12 noon. The length of the beach is 180m, and the width is only 12-13. There are few people even at the height of the season, there is no equipment.

Cape Vinogradny – photo of the beach

This is a very small “wild” recreation area; you will hardly find tourists here. Those who love solitude often pitch tents here. The shore is covered with pebbles and stones. The beach is located in the east of the cape of the same name, near the Fiolent camp site. You need to get here by overcoming a steep, winding path, and there is a safety rope at the finish line. Beaches near Avtobat

These places are hidden in the westernmost part of Cape Fiolent, not far from the military location (Avtobat transport stop). The first beach is not a flat coastal area, but only ledges in the rocks. But lovers of diving will have a great time taking advantage of the natural “towers” made of rocks. You need to move from the stop to the left of the military unit, passing paths and large stones, the descent ends in an almost vertical fire escape. You can do great fishing on the rocks; the sea is deep here.

The second beach is located to the left of the military part. The visit is paid, the descent is via an iron staircase. You come across gate doors that are locked.
