How to fly in Legion: a guide to flying in WOW Legion. Guide to flying in WoW Legion. How to fly in Legion - Broken Isles Pathfinder How to get flights in the Broken Isles

Flights... somehow imperceptibly since the days of WoD, flights have gone from being commonplace to becoming a real luxury. Fortunately, soon - after the release of patch 7.2, we will be able to fly in WoW: Legion! Blizzard promised this at Blizzcon 2016, and in this post Kuvaldych will tell you how to fly in the Legion and what you can do now to bring the cherished moment closer - getting into the air!

First and foremost, to gain access to flying mounts on the Broken Isles you need to complete the Pathfinder of the Broken Isles achievement. The first part of the achievement is available now, and the second will appear in the game with the release of patch 7.2.

Pathfinder of the Broken Isles

If you haven't completed this achievement yet, but want to start flying someday, now is the time to start doing it. Moreover, after receiving it you will be able to ride a ground mount much faster. A brief summary of the required criteria is provided. For example, you need to upgrade your reputation. Let me remind you that in patch 7.2, for pumping up your reputation and its subsequent increase, you will receive nice chests, apparently with useful and valuable rewards.

Pathfinder of the Broken Isles. Part 2

This part of the achievement will be available after the release of patch 7.2. Here's what we know about him:

  • To obtain it you need to complete the first part of the Pathfinder, which is logical.
  • We need to explore the Broken Coast, a new global location where we have to complete various tasks, hold back the Burning Legion and make our way to the Tomb of Sargeras.
  • Players will have to reflect in each of the locations of the Broken Isles - from Azsuna to Highmountain! By “repel” we mean a complete set of several local quests + the final scenario with the suppression of demons at their base.
  • You also need to level up Exalted with the new Legion Overthrow Army faction. There will be several ways to gain reputation with this faction, including completing quests on the Broken Coast.
  • And finally, it is necessary to complete the Infiltration of the Tomb campaign, which naturally leads us inside the Tomb of Sargeras - the new raid of patch 7.2.

Having met all the criteria, you will unlock flights in WoW: Legion. Thus, as in Draenor, Blizzard adheres to the principle: first watch all the content from the ground, and when there is nothing left to watch, get “wings” and fly to your health!

Now comes the best part of the post: the flights will be shared across your entire account. For the entire account! So you can fly not only on the main character, but also on all alts. Once you meet all the criteria once, you will be able to fly across all of the Broken Isles as all characters!

P.S. There’s just one small question left... In patch 7.3 we are sent to Argus. To a completely different world. I wonder if they will let you fly there? =) Unfortunately, this point has not been clarified yet.

Hold your ground mounts! Flying becomes available in Patch 7.2 - and if you haven’t already started on your journey, now is the time to complete Broken Isles Pathfinder, Part One. To help you along the way, we’re breaking the achievement down into a series of four handy guides: Good Suramaritan, Legion Explorer, World Quests, and Class Order Hall Campaigns.

Becoming a Good Suramaritan

The Good Suramaritan achievement will take a little time investment if you want to earn your wings and fly in Azeroth. The TL;DR: complete the Suramar quest lines and earning reputation with the Nightfallen along the way. Reputation is key, and unlocks quests within the achievement – one quest, A Change of Seasons, won’t unlock until you’re 20,000 reputation into Revered.

Where to Start

I'm Not 110 Yet

Not to worry – if you haven’t reached maximum level yet, you have plenty of time. Go questing, run dungeons, level up your professions. In the end, you will hit that magic number. You can always take a look at a zone guide if you need additional inspiration or advice. When you hit 110, this guide will be waiting for you.

I'm 110 but Haven't Started the Suramar Quest Line

  • An Ancient Gift – completed as part of Nightfallen But Not Forgotten
  • The Waning Crescent – rewards a toy: Never Ending Toy Chest
  • Blood and Wine rewards a pet: Untethered Wyrmling
  • Statecraft unlocks Arcway and Court of Stars
  • A Growing Crisis – requires you to kill Xavius in The Emerald Nightmare (LFR+)
  • A Change of Seasons – unlocks when you reach 20k into Revered
  • Breaking The Lightbreaker
  • Moon Guard Stronghold
  • Tidying Tel'anor
  • Eminent Grow-main – rewards a pet: Lurking Owl Kitten
  • Jandvik's Jarl – rewards Draft of Seawalking

Where Can I Find Ancient Mana?

Ancient Mana is easy to come by – with the most obvious and efficient being the Ancient Mana nodes that pop up on your minimap.

  • GATHER! Pick up Ancient Mana nodes in the zone. You’ll need the Mana Divining Stone, which is provided during the Ancient Mana quest so the nodes appear on your minimap.
  • QUEST! The Path to Suramar City
  • KILL! Creatures in Suramar
  • BUFF! Don’t forget to get the Ancient Mana buff from ! Feed Valtrois
  • GATHER! Ancient Mana is also contained in:
  • Mana-Tinged Pack– from an enchant applied to shoulders; requires The Nightfallen Honored
  • Oddly-Shaped Stomach– from the Skinning profession

The quest does not require you to explore Broken Shores or Eye of Azshara.

Broken Isles Share your progress across your entire account, so you can complete achievements with different characters in different game areas. However, one character must fully explore the entire area.

The guide will be updated if a particular subzone is difficult to find.

Legion Loremaster

Legion Loremaster Account-wide, requires you to complete all 5 Broken Isles storylines

Although the main achievement applies to all characters, completing individual quest chains is not shared. This means that if character A completed the achievement Full Val" ball, and character B performed Vrykul story, bro!, thereby contributing to the Legion Loremaster achievement, character B will have to receive a separate achievement Full Val" ball, and vice versa. Four of the zones can be completed while you are leveling, Suramar can only be completed at level 110. Achievement Good Suramaritan It takes quite a long time to complete, requiring players to complete a long storyline of quests, some of which are related to Nightfallen Reputation. By following the link you will find comments Good Suramaritan, separately we have compiled a guide on reputation with Suramar to understand the passage of this game zone.

Having problems with specific tasks? Take a look at Wowhead - many users have already found answers to confusing tasks that interest them.

Variety is the spice of life

You must complete 100 World Quests and require level 110 and friendliness with the 5 Legion factions. You will find several dozen World Quests active in the game world at the same time, so you will complete the achievement quickly.

Broken Isles Diplomat

Broken Isles Diplomat requires reverence with the Legion's six major factions. To achieve reverence, complete world quests and complete storylines.

How to get Revered

You can start building your reputation with the Valarjar, Dream Weavers, Highmountain tribes and the Court of Farondis already during leveling. Guardians and Nightfallen require level 110.

Story quests give reputation. If you complete all story missions in a specific zone required to achieve Legion Loremaster, you will receive Revered with the corresponding zone faction. Once you reach Revered, you will be able to purchase a Treasure Map, indicating the locations of all the treasures in that zone. Valarjar - Stormheim, Dream Weavers - Val'sharah, Highmountain Tribes - Highmountain, Council of Farondis - Azsuna.

    • Guardians, available at level 110, do not have story quest lines.

Darkened ones are also available only at level 110; their storyline is much more intricate than the quest chains of the leveling zones, along which you will reach Exalted.

World quests in each zone give reputation, randomly from 75 to 350 reputation. If a task gives reputation, there will be a hint about this in the interface. YOU need to be level 110 to complete these quests. Tasks can be completely different: kill a rarity, an elite, ordinary mobs, or win a pet battle.

    • Guardian quests can appear in any zone of the Broken Isles and reward Guardian reputation and the reputation of that Legion zone.

Another way to gain reputation is to complete 4 World Quests for your chosen faction. When you open your map, you will see this faction in the lower left corner. You will receive additional reputation for completing tasks, as well as loot. You can have 3 emissary tasks active at the same time to receive them - you don’t have to log into the game every day, once every 3 days is enough.

    • The Kirin Tor Emissary quest grants reputation with the faction you choose; 1500 for all factions except the Nightfallen, they have 750.

On the World Quests page you can keep track of all active world quests that are currently available.

Tips for speeding up your reputation.

According to Blizzard, this part is the most difficult to unlock flying in Legion. It consists of completing a meta-achievement. Below we will look at what you need to do to get this achievement.

Broken Isles

As you level up to level 110, you will have more locations unlocked. To find out where you haven't been yet, use the Explorer Coords addon.

Variety is the spice of life

Everything is clear here - complete 100 local quests. World quests become available at level 110.

Glorious Campaign

To get the achievement you need to complete a unique chain of quests related to the stronghold of your class.

At the end of the campaign, you will unlock the third relic slot in the artifact.

What do you need not required do to get the achievement:

Complete the Naaru quest chain about Illidan

Complete quest chains for artifacts of other specializations

Broken Isles Diplomat

For this achievement you need to achieve respect from the six main factions of the Legion. To do this, you first need to complete all quest chains in locations (except for Guardians - they do not have a quest chain), and then complete local quests corresponding to the desired faction.

Legion Loremaster

To get this achievement, you need to complete global story quests in five locations of the Broken Isles. The achievement applies to all characters on the account after one of them receives it.

Azsuna Matata, Complete Val'sharah, Vrykul story, bro! and knee-deep mountains

These achievements are quite simple - complete tasks in the location as you level up your character. You will need to complete almost all the tasks in the location, so do not reset the quests.

Good Suramaritan

Each achievement point is part of a quest chain. You will receive an achievement when you complete the entire chain. Please note that some quests require a fairly high reputation with the Darkened to begin.

Part 2 - will be available in patch 7.2

This part will be fully ready as soon as patch 7.2 hits the PTR. You can find out what we already know below.

Pathfinder of the Broken Isles, Part 2 is the second and final meta-achievement required to unlock flight in the Legion. As we were shown at Blizzcon 2016, players will be required to complete new story missions in the Broken Isles and Class Hall.

Second meta achievement points:

Pathfinder of the Broken Isles, Part 1

Explore all areas of the Broken Isles

    Opening the Tomb

    Defender of the Broken Isles

Commander of the Fall of the Legion

Essentially, you'll need to complete new story missions related to the Class Hall and the Broken Isles in patch 7.2, as well as level up your reputation with the new faction.

Class mounts in patch 7.2

Along with the announcement of flights in patch 7.2, Blizzard also showed class mounts. Players will be able to receive them as a reward for completing the entire chain of class stronghold quests and leveling up their reputation with the faction, which will appear in patch 7.2.

We have prepared a guide about how to learn to fly in WOW Legion: where to learn to fly on the Broken Isles, what achievements you need to complete, how much it will cost.

In 7.0.3 and 7.1, flying in the Legion is not available - you will be able to fly in patch 7.2.

You can view detailed information about what you need to do to obtain the Pathfinder of the Broken Isles, Part 1 achievement using a special tool on wowhead.com.

1. Broken Isles

This achievement requires you to explore several locations on the Broken Isles: Azsuna, Highmountain, Suramar, Stormheim and Val'sharah. Researching the Eye of Azshara is not necessary to obtain the achievement.

2. Variety is the spice of life.

4. Loremaster Legion

This achievement is also account-specific, but just like in the case of the Broken Isles, there are certain restrictions. In each location, the storyline must be completed by the same character - i.e. It won’t be possible to have the first character complete, say, 2 quest lines in one location, and the second character complete all the others.

What conditions must be met to fly in the Legion:

  • Make the first part of the Pathfinder of the Broken Isles.
  • Repel Legion invasions in each zone (Defender of the Broken Isles, available after April 4).
  • Explore the entire Broken Shore - location of patch 7.2 (Explore the Broken Shore)
  • Achieve Revered reputation with the Legionfall Army faction (Commander of the Legionfall Army).

Defender of the Broken Isles

You need to repel Legion invasions in several locations. You need to be level 110 to complete the 3 stages of Legion Invasions. At the end there will be a 3-person scenario in which you will need to destroy the Legion ship.

Legion Incursions can happen in any zone of the Broken Isles (for example, in Valsharah: Assault on Val'sharah). During an invasion, the location is filled with demons, and local quests in this zone are replaced with others related to demons.

After completing 6 local quests, you will be sent to a special zone of the location, where you will need to kill special demons. Then you destroy a special device and the final scenario starts (different for each location).

Example of the invasion of Azsuna:

Explore the Broken Shore

A simple achievement, you just need to unlock all areas of the Broken Shore location (added in 7.2). On the territory of the Broken Shore you can find disks floating in the air that will help you get to hard-to-reach places.

Commander of the Legion's Bane

You can find out all the ways to level up your reputation with the Armies of Legion's Ruin from our guide. Mainly:

  • Completing the introductory quests for the Broken Shore
  • Quest to obtain a new champion for the class hall
  • World quests (regular quests - 75 reputation, Tomb of Sargeras raid - 500 reputation)
  • Renting resources for the construction of buildings on the Broken Shore
  • Completing quests for the Infiltrating the Tomb achievement

To unlock the Legion's Bane Quartermaster, your character must be level 110 and complete the Assault on Broken Shore scenario in Patch 7.2.

One of the effects of the Mage Tower building can help boost your reputation - Worthy of Respect.

Class mounts

In patch 7.2, the Legion's Ruin Army faction will appear, leveling up its reputation will open access to new class mounts and skins (relevant for some classes, for example, shadow priests and arcane mages).
