Fox Mountain before and after. All-season sports and ski complex Lisya Gora. The delegation wishes success to this wonderful independent course

Previously, in order to bring such an idea to life, it was necessary to go to ski resorts in other countries. Now everything is much simpler. "Fox Mountain" in the Moscow region provides the opportunity to ski on fully equipped slopes. Such a pleasure will cost tourists several times less, and the journey will take a minimum of time.

"Fox Mountain" in Balashikha

Artificial slopes have been formed on the banks of the Pekhorka River over many years. This process was partly associated with the removal of soil after the construction of new residential neighborhoods in the capital, as well as with the construction of additional metro stations.

The resort opened in 2007. Over the past ten years, the administration has been developing a recreation center and opening new trails. The infrastructure has also expanded significantly. "Fox Mountain" welcomes guests all year round. During the warm season, there is a variety of entertainment here:

  • climbing wall;
  • karting;
  • trampolines;
  • rope park.

The winter season opens in November. The trails close in mid-March. If there is insufficient natural snow cover, special cannons begin working here to create artificial coverage.

How to get there?

The complex is located 7 km from the Moscow Ring Road in Balashikha. You can get here as follows:

  • Minibus No. 338 from the Shchelkovskaya metro station goes to the Banya stop. From here you need to walk another 300 meters.
  • Route taxi No. 125 from the Novogireevo metro station will take visitors to the Agrarian University stop. Next you need to walk about 250 meters.
  • Take bus No. 193B from the Vykhino station, get off at the Gorsovet stop and then walk past McDonald's - the walk will take no more than 8 minutes.

By personal transport, you need to move along Entuziastov Highway to Leonovskoye Highway. 100 meters after the first traffic light you need to turn right - the road will lead directly to the resort.

Features of the tracks

"Fox Mountain" has 5 descents. Here you can ski and snowboard. The resort has small slides for children's entertainment, sledding and tubing.

  1. The training route is designed for beginners. It has a length of 80 meters. Here you can safely take your first steps on skis or snowboards. Professional instructors work with beginners.
  2. Descent No. 1 is the next stage in mastering this sport. There are no serious turns or sharp changes here. On this slope you can hone your skiing and snowboarding skills.
  3. Route No. 3 is 300 meters long. Amateurs with sufficient riding experience feel comfortable here.
  4. Slope No. 4 is intended for confident athletes and skiers with extensive experience. There are sharp changes in height and sharp turns.

Entertainment for children

You can put your child on skis as early as 2-3 years old. The Fox Mountain ski resort provides an opportunity to introduce children to sports. Professional instructors work here who will teach children all the basics of safe skiing.

There is also an 80-meter long tubing track. This entertainment will appeal to all family members. In the summer, kids can try their hand at rope courses or jump on trampolines.

The restaurant complex has a children's room where children can relax and play after a long stay in the fresh air. The cafe offers a special menu for children of all ages.

Hosting an event

The Fox Mountain resort is not just for skiing. There is a banquet hall with 100 seats. The room is equipped with modern lighting and a karaoke system. The resort hosts themed celebrations. You can celebrate the New Year with Santa Claus while enjoying an interesting show program.

On Maslenitsa, ritual festivities are held here in the open air. Tubing and sledding competitions are organized for guests. A round dance around a large fire will impress not only adults, but also young guests of the base.

The resort has a restaurant complex and several small cafes. There is also a picnic area. Here you can fry shish kebab on already prepared grills and just have fun in the company of friends.

Other Features

At the Lisya Gora resort there is a rental point for all the necessary equipment for outdoor activities. Guests can rent skis of different sizes here. Tubing and sleds are also available for rental.

The area is equipped with modern lifts - there are 6 of them in total. Two of them are designed for people who are not yet very confident on skis. Modern artificial lighting makes it possible to ski on the slopes after sunset.

On weekdays, guests of the complex can try their hand at the slopes after work. "Fox Mountain" (photo) offers its regular customers to purchase a subscription to visit the base. In this way costs can be reduced.

There are always security guards and medical workers on the base, ready to provide assistance to vacationers.

Good day!

I recently acquired a new hobby - alpine skiing. I’ve only been skiing for two seasons, so I don’t pretend to be a professional skier and I don’t go to mountainous areas yet.

Fifteen minutes from my house there is an interesting place called “Fox Mountain”.

The mountain itself is construction waste dump(concrete, reinforcement, etc.), sprinkled with earth. But, in principle, I don’t care, the main thing is that at the beginning of winter it is prepared for skiers, leveled, snow cannons and nets are installed and lifts are set up.

Why then "FOX Mountain"?

Most likely, because nearby is the Balashikha fur farm, where foxes are bred.

Where is it located and how to get there?

It is located in the Moscow Region, in the city of Balashikha. It is more rational to get there along the Entuziastov highway.

I recommend it to those who are just starting to learn alpine skiing or snowboarding, to families with children who want to take them for a ride on inflatable cheesecakes, and to people living nearby. I hope that management will see my review and listen to the public’s opinion!

Entertainment

Modernization of the Lisya Gora ski complex continues. Already this 2018, another track will be equipped, a climbing wall, a panda park, and a playground for sports games will be built. In short, on Fox Mountain you can relax and play sports in both winter and summer. And this winter, at the food court you can taste delicious hot dishes, warm up with hot tea, coffee, and mulled wine. Show programs are held on weekends and holidays. There is a barbecue area.

What's around

Moscow (7 km), Pushkino (27 km), Mytishchi (29 km), Domodedovo (52 km), Vnukovo (66 km).

The multifunctional all-season sports and ski complex “Fox Mountain” is located in a picturesque corner of Balashikha and just 7 km from the Moscow Ring Road.

The difficulty of the slopes varies from very simple training slopes to “red” slopes for experienced skiers that meet FIS standards. The height difference, depending on the route, varies - on the training slope it is only 20 m, on the difficult ones it reaches 95 m. The length of the slopes is small, the maximum is about 400 m, but there is good artificial lighting, which extends the ski day until nightfall.

All slopes, including the “cheesecake” slope, are prepared daily using snow compaction equipment and a snowmaking system. This also applies to the snow park, which awaits extreme sports enthusiasts all winter.

Rent equipment or have it repaired, learn how to ski or snowboard, enjoy fresh air and beautiful views - “Fox Mountain” offers a full range of related services and experiences.

What else can you do at the Lisya Gora sports complex?

In nature you can not only play sports, but also simply relax. The best place to do this is in the food court, where there are hot drinks and food, from soups to spring rolls and hot dogs. You can also rent a picnic area with a table and barbecue, or have a feast in the banquet hall.

In summer, you can race go-karts, climb in the rope park and climbing wall, or jump on the trampoline.

When does the ski season start at the Lisya Gora sports complex?

The season lasts from December to March, sometimes shifting slightly due to natural conditions. Winter in the Moscow region has little snow (by the end of the season the thickness of the snow cover barely exceeds 0.5 m) and mild (about -7-9°C), so nothing will prevent guests of the sports complex from skiing.

How to get to the Lisya Gora sports complex?

You can get to the city of Balashikha by bus or minibus. If you get off at the “Banya” or “RGAZU” stop (near the Agrarian University), you will need to walk another 300 m in a straight line and 100 m to the right. If you get off at the Gorsovet stop, you will have to walk a little longer - first to McDonald's, then turn onto the road between it and the Vertical shopping center, walk along it for about 10 minutes and, having passed the bridge over the river, finally get to the sports complex.

Electric trains in the Gorky direction go to the Kuchino Platform station, then by bus or minibus as described above.

By car, leave the capital along the Entuziastov Highway, after 7 km there will be sequentially: McDonald's, the Vertical shopping center, the first traffic light (at the crossing), the second traffic light - turn right at it, onto Leonovskoe Highway. Follow it until the traffic light, 100 m after it turn right again.

How much does it cost to stay at the Lisya Gora sports complex and where is the best place to stay?

Perhaps the closest to the sports complex is the mini-hotel “On Julius Fuchik”, one of the three rooms of which can be rented for about 4,000 rubles. per day. On the other side of Entuziastov Highway there is the East Gate Hotel, where single occupancy costs RUB 3,400.
