Districts of Pattaya. Pratamnak. Pratumnak Beach - comfortable and quiet Selecting suitable accommodation: the best options

The Pratumnak Beach area is the second most popular holiday destination in Pattaya. Today we walked along the embankment towards this beach and, judging by what we saw, we were the first among Russian vacationers. But not by the abundance of Russian signs, not by the Russian music coming from the cafes, but by the Russians themselves. There are quite a lot of them here even in the off season.

Pratumnak beach

Pratamnak Beach is replete with five-star hotels. Conventionally, the beach is divided into 4 parts - Dongtan (Adam Beach), Pratumnak beach itself, Asia Hotel beach, and Cozy Beach.

For the convenience of tourists, along the entire beach, starting from Jomtien, there is an alley, from which winding paths to the beach periodically depart. Sometimes cars or motorbikes of cafe and hotel workers come in, but there is no constant flow of cars here. This is one of the advantages that we noted for ourselves at Pratamnak beach. Another nice bonus is free Wi-Fi on the beach.

Also on Pratumnak is the only hotel in Pattaya with a small water park and amusement park - Pattaya Park. The hotel itself and the water park, upon closer inspection, look rather dull and shabby.

Dongtan Beach (Adam beach): gay beach

The first thing that catches your eye when walking to the beach is gay people. Blue Adam Beach is located at the very beginning of Pratumnak. The beach for gays is easy to recognize by the rainbow flags and the contingent of vacationers - only men.

There is even a special place for them. They walk hand in hand and communicate sweetly. The restaurants are also mostly occupied only by gay couples or groups of 7-8 men, the rest of the establishments are simply empty.

Pratamnak Beach

With the onset of the high season, Pratumnak beach is transformed. All the garbage that can be seen in the off-season floats away somewhere, the water becomes blue and even transparent, and the landscapes are no longer so gray.

Many people swim here, as it is believed that the water is cleaner.

Photo of Pratamnak Beach in low season

Pratamnak is wider than Jomtien, but in June it does not look much more attractive than its neighbor. See the photo to see what the situation is like here in the low season.

The wind from the sea blows constantly. Now I have to walk around with a bandage on my ears

“I'm t-telling you, you have to sunbathe naked! Y-Are you understand me or not?!”

I still don’t understand why small children should be bathed naked in dirty water. Many Russian families do the same

The garbage was quietly distributed along the entire spit along the beach. High and dirty waves rise due to strong winds. The most amazing thing is that in the high season the water is clean and there is no dirt!

The Gulf of Thailand brings all the delights of civilization to the coast. Nobody cleans up trash in some areas of the beach. But Russian tourists are not afraid of anything. In the cold and in the heat, in the mud, but at least I swim in Thailand. I don’t care that a sewer pipe 100 meters away drains all waste into the sea.

This is what Pattaya looks like in winter. That is, in the summer. In Thailand, all the seasons are the other way around: when we have summer, there is winter, and when we have frosts, in Thailand there comes a hot, dry summer. So, the optimal time to visit Pattaya is from November to March.

Well, we won’t swim, we’ll eat ice cream.

In the cold and in the heat - ice cream is always with me

Asia Hotel Beach

The next beach, which also belongs to the Pratumnak area, is Asia Hotel Beach. That's what everyone calls him here. It is separated from neighboring beaches by mountains. You can access it freely through the hotel territory.

Cozy beach

Cozy Beach is considered one of the best beaches in Pattaya. It is also separated from the other beaches by a mountain. The Kozi area, like Pratumnak, is recognized as elite. I don’t know why, though, there’s nothing special about the beach or the area. The Pratumnak hill area ends at this beach. After the mountains, the Central Pattaya region begins.

Pratumnak District

The interior of the area is quite calm. If you come here in the summer, it seems that everything has died out. The quarter is very quiet, there is no public transport here, and there are few people. During the season everything comes to life.

There are several 7-Elevens and Family Marts in the area. Near the Tesco Express beach. It's a 20-30 minute walk to Foodmart. In the very center of the area there is a “Russian market”, where fruits, ready-made food and inexpensive cafes are sold. Many new condominiums are built on quiet streets where cars rarely pass and music from the market is not heard. But there may be a construction site nearby.

From the central part of the Pratumnak area, approximately from the market, where most hotels and condos are located, it takes 5-7 minutes to walk to tuk-tuks. Same to the beach. In the alleys we often notice water dispensers and washing machines (40 baht each).

The area itself is heavily Russified. It seems to me that most Russians live here. In the condominiums, too, the audience is mainly Russian and European, there are a few Thai residents, we have never seen the Chinese, they were seen only on excursions to Pattaya Park. There is no Tagil, and there are no blue couples anywhere except Dongtan Beach. Many families with children vacation on Pratumnak.

Pratumnak Beach is located in the same area of Pattaya between the central and southern parts of the resort. On one side, the coastline borders the Bali Hai pier, from where ferries and speedboats depart for Koh Larn, and on the other, it adjoins Dong Tan Beach, which in turn goes to Jomtien. Pratumnak Beach (also called Pratamnak and Pratumnak) is suitable for a relaxing time and sunbathing. There are no nightclubs and discos, go-go bars, karaoke cafes or other entertainment establishments on the coast.

A quiet and decent location is chosen by families with children and people dreaming of a relaxing holiday away from noisy places of entertainment. The coastline is divided into separate sections that have received their own names - for example, Cozy Beach and Asia Beach. The main contingent of vacationers are “package” tourists from Russia, winterers and expats, as well as Europeans who have settled in a condo for a long time.

Hotels and accommodation in Pratumnak

Although Pratumnak Hill is considered an upscale area, there are many accommodation options for travelers on a budget. Within walking distance from the sea, almost every building has “Room for rent” banners. Rooms in guesthouses are rented for 300-500 baht per day, the price of a studio in condominiums starts from 10,000 baht per month when renting for six months or more.

The first line of Pratumnak Beach is built up with five-star hotel complexes. In the northern part, one of the most prestigious hotels in Pattaya, Golden Cliff, rises on the cape, and Royal Beach View is located nearby. In the center of the beach is Centara Grand Phratamnak, followed by two high-rise buildings: Ban Hard U Thong Condominium and Adriatic Palace Pattaya. To the south they share the coastal area of Heritage Pattaya Beach Resort and Majestic Residence Pattaya.

The conventional border separating Pratamnak and the surrounding area of Jomtien is the Pattaya Park Tower. The so-called “Russian Street” leads to it, intersecting with the busy Thappraya highway, along which tuk-tuks ply. There is no public transport along Pratumnak Hill, which is a significant disadvantage of the area. However, the developed tourist infrastructure allows you not to leave Pratumnak Hill and independently visit the main attractions of the city - the Big Buddha Temple, the Chinese park with the statue of the goddess of mercy Guan Yin and the observation deck, which offers panoramic views of the Gulf of Thailand.

Infrastructure

Within a minute's walk from the shore there are restaurants, cafes, massage parlors, travel agencies, exchange offices, and a Tesco Lotus supermarket. At the surf's edge, equipment is available for rent: a sunbed costs 100 baht, a deck chair costs 40. Toilets (10 baht) and showers (20 baht) are provided. Near the areas with umbrellas, from morning until sunset, they sell swimwear, drinks, souvenirs and fast food. Under awnings and in the shade of palm trees, mobile stalls and stationary food outlets offer a variety of dishes. The average cost of servings is 60-100 baht.

An advantageous advantage of the beach area is a shady pedestrian promenade, from which paths lined with paving slabs lead to the sea. The road is closed to motorbikes until 18:00. Avenues of palm trees are interspersed with pine-like casuarinas and the evergreen deciduous trees Terminalia catappa, better known as the “Indian almond.” Under the spreading crowns you can sit comfortably on a mat, as Thai companies do.

A nice bonus is free Wi-Fi. The speed is not enough to download movies, but browsing social media pages or posting photos on Instagram will be no problem.

Visitors can enjoy a full range of resort activities: banana boat rides, water skiing, parasailing, and rental of jet skis, canoes and catamarans. The swimming area is fenced with pontoon buoys, swimming behind which is dangerous due to hydro scooters rushing across the sea surface.

The entrance to the sea is gentle, the depth increases gradually. The water is never crystal clear due to a sandy suspension mixed with silt, and after storms or windy weather, household and natural garbage washes up to the shore. The water area is mostly calm; high waves rarely occur. During the monsoon season, which lasts from April to October, there are few people. There are no underwater currents, and the risk of encountering a jellyfish or sea urchin is minimal.

The sandbank is covered with yellow quartz sand mixed with shell rock. The land exposed after low tide looks unpresentable due to black muddy areas and scatterings of stones covered with moss.

From time to time, barkers recruit a group of people who want to go to the island of Lahn on a speedboat for 300-500 baht round trip. Merchants deliver food, ice cream and fruit. As dusk sets in, life on the beach comes to a standstill and the lanterns come on on the promenade. Thanks to the evening lighting, the paths can be used for jogging.

How to get to Pratumnak Beach

A trip by motorcycle taxi (motosai) will cost 100-150 baht, passenger taxi drivers ask for 300 baht regardless of the distance when traveling around Pattaya.

You can order a car online using the GrabTaxi mobile application. The service provides the possibility of paying both by card and in cash.

The most budget-friendly way is to use a songthaew and for 10 baht get to the beginning of Jomtien Beach, and then walk along Dongtan Beach. The journey will take half an hour.

When traveling on a rented motorbike or car, you need to drive to the end of Soi 5 (Soi Phra Tam Nak 5). There is a parking lot behind the 7/11 convenience store, behind it there is a descent with steps and a spacious gazebo. This place is considered to be the middle of the beach. On the right (if you are facing the sea) you can find secluded corners, and on the left there is a landscaped sector.

Opinions about the Pratumnak area in Pattaya are divided into two options. First option: Pratamnak is an excellent area, expensive, well-groomed, with luxurious condominiums favored by Russians, and a more or less good beach. Second option: Pratumnak in Pattaya is a terrible area, it’s difficult to get out of, it’s expensive to travel, and walking on foot is scary and life-threatening.

But nevertheless, the fact remains that Pratumnak in Pattaya is popular among Russian tourists and winterers. Anyone who has been to Pattaya knows that there are actually a lot of Russians there. This has an advantage - you can always communicate with someone in your own language, find new acquaintances and business contacts.

Consider the Pratumnak area in Pattaya, reviews, what to do, Pratumnak hotels.

Description of the Pratumnak area

The Pratumnak area in Pattaya has become popular for many reasons. Unlike Jomtien and Central Pattaya, there is no heavy traffic along the coastal highway and is generally relatively quiet. Pratamnak in Pattaya is conveniently located relative to the most popular attractions of the resort - the Chinese Temple, Observation Deck and Big Buddha can be reached on foot in just 15 minutes. It will take a little more, about half an hour, to get to Walking Street and the Bali Hai Pier.

A developed tourism infrastructure is important for tourists - there are no problems with this in the Pratumnak area. Restaurants, bars, cafes, massage parlors, rental of equipment necessary for water activities and recreation - all this is available right on the beaches. Of course, there are no very noisy clubs here, so the place is suitable for winterers and families with children.

The isolation of the Pratamnak area is perceived ambiguously among tourists. It's not easy to get here - the nearest tuk-tuk is a few kilometers from Pratamnak. There are no cheap songthaews for 10 baht here. So you have to turn to the services of tuk-tuks and motorcycle taxis for help, but this is not cheap. But at the same time, such inaccessibility is an additional guarantee that “random” people will not interfere with your vacation, since on the beaches you can meet mainly guests from nearby hotels and condominiums.

In Pratumnak, Pattaya, you can also buy gifts and souvenirs for your loved ones at two local markets. By the way, they are very convenient for visiting - there are places to relax between purchases. Local goods are sold on the stalls; you can see all the flavor of Pattaya.

Be sure to take a walk along the main street of the area - Pratumnak. This way you definitely won’t get lost while looking for local attractions - after all, it leads to the Lookout Point, Buddha Hill and ends near the pier from which you can get to the neighboring island of Koh Larn. But be careful, because you won't see any sidewalks on this street. This is a feature of only the central street; all other streets and alleys have sidewalks for pedestrians.

Beaches in Pratumnak: main features

The first reason why tourists from all over the world come to Pratumnak is the more or less clean and comfortable beaches.

Anyone who has seen the beaches of Pattaya does not swim here. But in Pratamnak people go into the sea, I saw it myself. The beach is conventionally divided into 4 main parts - Pratumnak beach, Dongtan (Adam Beach), Cozy Beach and Asia Hotel Beach. All of them are unique in their kind and have their own differences.

Pratumnak beach begins to change right before our eyes with the onset of the high tourist season. Before welcoming tourists, they literally clean it up - so you won’t see any, not even the slightest, garbage there. Of course, after such cleaning, the water literally becomes clear. This beach is mainly visited by vacationers from neighboring hotels and inns. There are a lot of people here during the high season, but not as many as on Central Beach.

The best beaches in Pratumnak are Cozy Beach and Dongtan.

The infrastructure on the coast is well developed - all the necessary services are available to tourists. There are also plenty of thoughtful activities and entertainment. Particularly popular are water activities - a speedboat ride along the shore (from 2,500 baht), riding a water scooter (1,000-1,500 baht) and, of course, a banana boat (1,100 baht).

For a comfortable time on the beach, you can rent sun loungers and umbrellas, if this is not provided in the list of services provided by the hotel. But in general, sunbathing in Pratumnak is better than in Central Pattaya, since there are many green shelters on the shore.

There are other beaches in Pattaya. For example, near the Pattaya Park and Adriatic Palace hotels there are municipal recreation areas that are free for everyone to visit.

It is very crowded here, because not only tourists, but also local residents come there to relax. But this does not affect the beauty and cleanliness - garbage is removed there regularly. Near other Sheraton and Royal Cliff hotels, the beaches are closed to outside visitors, and you can only get there from the area where you are renting accommodation.

Pratumnak in Pattaya: comfort on the beaches, list of services provided

A good holiday is impossible without full service and comfort. When you go to Pratumnak in Pattaya, you will not be disappointed, as you will not only enjoy beautiful views, but also benefit from good infrastructure for tourists.

Some people mistakenly believe that prices in Pratumnak are high compared to other areas of Pattaya. If you have the opportunity to visit different parts of the city, you will be able to see that the prices are approximately the same. You can eat at a cafe for 100 baht, and a massage at my favorite massage parlor, Savanna, in Pratumnak, costs 250 baht.

Pratamnak in Pattaya is distinguished by a large number of cafes and bars on the coast; further from the coast there are numerous hotels and inns that are ready to welcome tourists at any time of the year. There are merchants on the beach who offer tourists a choice of food and drinks, but if you have special preferences, they will also fulfill them for an additional fee. There are not many shops here, but there is a 7-Eleven.

The development of services on Pratumnak keeps up with the times, so there is free Wi-Fi on the beaches. Unfortunately, the data transfer speed is not as fast as we would like, but it is enough to scroll through pages on Instagram or Twitter. Of course, you won't be able to watch movies online, so it's better to go to your local cinema (although the movie will be in Thai or English).

What to do in Pratumnak in Pattaya: activities and attractions

One of the advantages of a holiday in Pratumnak in Pattaya is its close proximity to popular attractions of the city - Buddha Mountain, a Chinese temple and an observation deck. You can get to them on foot in 15-30 minutes. Along the way there is a magnificent park - one of the few in the city. There we also found wonderful barrels of water - you can cool off in the heat.

Be sure to visit the View Point observation deck - it offers amazing views of Pattaya.

Here you can not only take a lot of wonderful shots, but also see a monument to one of the most revered people in Thailand - Prince Krom. Locals consider this place sacred, so fresh flowers are constantly brought there.

When visiting this attraction, remember the rules that must be followed there. Smoking and wearing open clothes are prohibited here; also note that you should not take water or food with you, since taking it there is also prohibited.

Among the places of worship on the hill is Wat Khao Phra Bat, where you can see statues corresponding to different days of the week. If you want to receive an individual blessing from a monk, then this temple has such an opportunity.

As for entertainment, the main ones, without which it is difficult to imagine a holiday for a modern tourist, are enough to not get bored. Of course, the Pratumnak area has room to develop and has not yet built a nightclub there. If this is a fundamental issue for you, then you can visit the clubs on Volkin Street - getting there by mobile transport is only 15 minutes.

Also nearby in Pratumnak there are no shopping and entertainment centers in the form to which we are accustomed. But this is well compensated by the presence of various trading stalls and small shops - they have everything you need for relaxation and interesting things for gifts and souvenirs.

How to get to and from Pratumnak

This issue worries many tourists, especially since many share their negative experiences in their reviews. Indeed, in Pratumnak there are certain difficulties with this, since there is no public transport there. Fortunately, you can get there on foot, but only during the day. If you don’t want to strain your legs, taxi drivers offer services. In addition to regular taxi cars, there are motorcycle taxis (motosai) - they are cheaper in cost, on average you need to pay from 100-250 baht for such a trip. The savings are obvious when compared to a car equipped with air conditioning for 250 baht.

During the day from Pratumnak in Pattaya to Bali Hai - 150-200 baht, in the evening back from the center - 300 baht. It's a long way from Songthaew. And not every tuk-tuk or motorbike rides. They make faces: “Is this going uphill? Nope..." Walking at night from Pratamnak is dangerous. You can mentally lose a certain amount of money and other valuables. You can’t go anywhere without personal transport, or immediately budget money for a taxi. The Thais are not fools either, and they understand that you can’t just get out of the Pratamnak area on foot, the price tag is growing quickly.

Selecting suitable housing: the best options

When analyzing different accommodation options in Pattaya, please note that in addition to hotels, it is possible to rent a room, condominium or an entire house from a private owner. To get an idea of prices, consider several options at once. On average, you can rent a room for 400-900 baht per day. If you decide to stay here for a long time, then you need to provide at least 10,000 baht for rent.

These prices are relevant for houses located near the coastline. Typically, such housing involves a small studio room, which, however, is sufficient for living with children. If you want to rent housing for a large group, then a condominium with separate apartments of one or two rooms is ideal. For this, you will accordingly have to pay a large amount - 16-25,000 baht per month.

Pratumnak Hotels

It is easier for tourists to rent a hotel room, since they can book it themselves or through a travel agency. In Pratumnak in Pattaya there is a good selection of hotels with different levels of service and cost. There are very well-known expensive chains and several guesthouses here. Let's look at the main list of hotels in Pratumnak.

Pratumnak Beach is one of the cleanest in Pattaya. The absence of loud night bars and the presence of a good wide beach make the Pratumnak area the best for families.

In the Pratumnak area there are stones that are popular with local amateur fishermen. You can borrow a fishing rod and go fishing with them.

In terms of nightlife, it’s a quiet place, so if you can’t sleep, go to Walking Street.

Hotels near Pratumnak Beach

Off the coast, in Cliff Bay, there are five-star Sheraton and Royal Cliff.

Lovers, singles and couples without children stay at the Sheraton Pattaya Resort.

There are also guest houses in the area where you can rent rooms with bathrooms. As in all of Pattaya, there is no shortage of housing here

Attractions of Pratumnak Hill Thailand

Pratamnak Hill, which separates Jomtien and central Pattaya, offers beautiful views of the sea (Pattaya Bay), Koh Larn island, Laem Chabang port and the tropics. There is an observation deck on this hill View point, similar to the bow of a ship. Place 10 baht in your binoculars' coin slot and admire the surroundings. Near the observation deck they sell souvenirs, food and drinks. You can refresh yourself with the moisture of a coconut here for 30 baht.

There is still a big one on the hill. Entrance to the site and to the Buddha is free.

It is better to visit Pratumnak Hill after four or five in the evening: the sun is not shining and you can admire the glowing city at dusk.

You can climb up the asphalt road on foot or by motorbike.
Another attraction of the area is the observation tower on the territory of the Pattaya Park Hotel.

The tower is open from 10.30 to 18.00.

Before buying tickets at the entrance, familiarize yourself with the selection and cost of services.

The 52nd, 53rd, 54th floors of the tower are occupied by revolving restaurants. The average cost of a Thai lunch in such a restaurant is 200 baht.

At an altitude of 240 meters there is an observation deck. Descent from this site is offered by cable car, elevators with closed or open cabins. Many Russians like to be tied to a rope and thrown down.

  • For those who for some reason did not go on vacation to the islands, the clean and calm beaches of Pratamnak and the Russian-speaking staff of local establishments are quite suitable.

In the southern part of bustling Pattaya there is a cozy, calm area of Pratumnak. It is located on a green hill between the beach and central Pattaya. "Hill" translated from English means "hill", so this term is often added to the name of the area. Residents of Russia love to come here; almost all the inscriptions are duplicated in Russian. Pratumnak Hill is especially popular among couples with children, because the sea is the cleanest on this coast, the infrastructure is well developed and there is no noisy night entertainment.

Description

The main street of the area is called Phra Tamnak. It leads to Buddha Hill and the Lookout, then continues to the pier from which ferries depart for (Ko Lan).

Koh Larn Island

There are no sidewalks on this street, but there is traffic, so it is difficult to move on foot. On the small streets branching off from the main street there are sidewalks and there are almost no cars. There are many massage parlors, shops and bars concentrated here.

There are two markets in the Pratumnak area - for locals and for tourists. At the tourist market you can buy various things for recreation and food. There is a special seating area with cozy tables and a stage with music. In the evening, peace and quiet sets in on the coast. There are no bars or restaurants in the immediate vicinity of the sea, but there are some on the hill. Climbing up one of the stairs, you can have dinner and admire the excellent evening panorama.

The Hill district is considered the most prestigious in the city; it is not for nothing that the residence of Her Highness the Princess of Thailand is located here. Pratamnak, compared to Central Pattaya, has a number of advantages:

  • the sea is much cleaner;
  • the beach is isolated by high rocks and is mostly used by guests of nearby hotels;
  • there is no busy road nearby;
  • a lot of greenery;
  • there are three interesting attractions on the Hill, which can be reached on foot in 15 minutes;
  • The Hill offers magnificent views of the sea;
  • a large selection of housing, the presence of bars, shops, restaurants, massage parlors;
  • silence and comfort, which allows families with children to relax.

Transport

Despite all the advantages, in reviews tourists cite the main drawback of the Pratumnak area - problems with transport. There is no public transport here, so you have to use a taxi, scooter or walk. The hilly terrain and hot, humid climate make it difficult to travel on foot. You can walk to the center of Pattaya in 30-40 minutes, and to Jomtien Beach along a good pedestrian road laid in the shade of trees in 15 minutes. A motorcycle taxi costs from 50 baht, a taxi equipped with air conditioning costs about 150 baht. The nearest inexpensive songthaew stop is 1.5 km from the hotels, and the road leads uphill.

Housing

As in other areas of Pattaya, in Pratamnak there are many houses for rent near the coastline. In guest houses you can rent a room for 400-900 baht per day or from 10 thousand baht per month. Such rooms are studios located on noisy central streets. Families with children prefer to live on quieter side streets. There are condominiums with nice one and two bedroom apartments. The cost of living is 16-25 thousand baht per month. You cannot see the sea from the window of such a condominium, but there may be a communal pool in the courtyard.

The best hotels are located right on the seashore, on the first line. Each of them has its own territory and access to the beach. Two large hotels are located closest to the sea, right on the shore - Adriatic Palace and Ban Hard U Thong Condominium. Next come smaller hotels, followed by the only hotel with a water park - Pattaya Park.

The good three-star hotel Golden Cliff is located in the northern part of the beach on a picturesque hill. Vacationers have two swimming pools, a sauna, and a good restaurant. Two five-star hotels, Royal Cliff and Sheraton, are located right on the shore in Cliff Bay. Both have their own beaches, which are well maintained.

Many Russian tourists relax at the Adriatic Hotel. A huge building with a terrace is located on the very shore. Among the advantages of the Adriatic is a good location right next to the pedestrian path, a swimming pool, and a beautiful view from the window. But reviews say that the hotel is quite old, the service is not very good, and the water in the pool is cloudy.

Beaches

Pratumnak is considered one of the best beach areas in Pattaya. There is a lot of greenery, no road noise, and the atmosphere is calm. The width of the sand in some places reaches 20 m. Tourists can sunbathe in the shade of trees, which is impossible in Central Pattaya. The sand is fine, the entrance to the sea is gentle, the water is quite clean.

Beaches near the hotels Cozy Beach, Pattaya Park, Adriatic Palace are free and municipal, they are always crowded. Wandering sellers offer all sorts of things; you can have a snack in a cafe or restaurant. The sand is regularly cleaned of debris, and sun loungers are available for a fee. The closed beaches near the Royal Cliff and Sheraton hotels are much cleaner; they are equipped with free sun loungers. You can only get to the Royal Cliff beach through the hotel territory; outsiders do not go here.

Conventionally, the beach is divided into several parts, the most important of which are Pratumnak, (Cozy Beach), beaches near hotels Asia (Asia Pattaya), Pattaya Park. Hotel Asia has a small cozy beach where there are not too many people. According to reviews, the cleanest of the beaches is near the Zucchini and Condomy restaurant. Only long-term residents of the area and guests of nearby hotels know about it. There is very little space, so you need to take sunbeds in the morning. Sunbeds here are paid for, the bottom is sandy, the shore is well cleaned by the employees of the Asia Hotel.

The small (500 m) public beach Pratumnak Beach is the most popular and accessible. The shore is flat, ranging from 20 to 40 m wide. The main, 5th street of Pratamnak overlooks this beach. Where the road meets the beach there is a large open area with no trees. On both sides of the site you can find shade under trees or umbrellas installed near the sun loungers.

If you go to the left, a landscaped path stretches along the shore between the trees, then behind the ridge begins the territory of Dongtan beach, followed by Jomtien.

Dongtan Beach

On the right side the beach is almost wild. It looks neglected, there is trash on the shore, sharp stones in the water. There is a large gazebo here, where it’s nice to sit in the evening, but you shouldn’t stay late on the deserted shore, as tourists are robbed in this respectable area.

Entertainment

The beach located near the Pattaya Park hotel is considered Russian. Tour operators organize accommodation for tourists from Russia in this hotel. The Pattaya water park and the beach have all the conditions for a dynamic holiday: an amusement park, an observation tower, water slides, children's and adult pools, a golf club, a diving center.
