The rooms are large, but there is no hairdryer in the bathroom, each room has only one small wardrobe and chest of drawers, there was nowhere to put things. The hotel has a SPA with a sauna and a swimming pool for free, but for some reason it is only open until 20-00. There was a disco in the basement of the hotel, they said it was the best in Borovets, there was also an erotic show, but that’s not what I came for and they disturbed my sleep. The hotel is located almost on the outskirts of Borovets, but it’s not far to the ski lifts, uphill in the morning, downhill in the evening. Every day we walked through a bunch of shops where the prices were incredible. Now the disadvantages: I wanted to take only breakfast, but the difference was not significant, so I took HB, we went for both breakfast and dinner, but the variety was poor, for breakfast the same thing every day, for dinner the hot food varied a little, but everything was very meager. Drinks in the morning: one type of juice from the machine (apple), coffee, tea, etc. from the machine they were barely warm and the water sometimes ran out, in the evening there was a fee and you had to wait a long time. During the day we ate in restaurants and cafes, the resort is largely aimed at the British, so there are plasmas with football everywhere and a lot of fast food, but we tried to eat traditional Bulgarian cuisine, it’s very tasty, the portions are large, you have to take one for two, otherwise you won’t leave the table . Skating. There aren’t very many trails at all (you can find maps on websites), but there was also little snow and some of the trails were closed. We skied mainly in the Yastrebets ski area, there were many icy areas, people fell. We were fed on board so as not to die: plain water, coffee, tea and a bun with cheese and a leaf of lettuce. In general, holidays in Bulgaria are budget and not bad, but for some reason I don’t want to do more. It’s better to go to Italy, there are mountains with more interesting and higher slopes and there’s something to see.

It’s a bit far to the ski lift, about 2 km. Pleasant reception. Transparent floor at the reception and you can see the pool below. Different categories of rooms: VIP Apart (living room with beds + bedroom with a door) Studio (no open plan kitchen) DBL Standart (smaller in area than Studio, laminate flooring) Studio Standart (differs only in floor covering from VIP (carpet) Apart Standart Swimming pool free, sauna, Jacuzzi, steam room for a fee. Nice little hotel.
Really good 4*, suitable for young people, couples (including children). The ski lifts are 200 meters away. There is wi-fi in the lobby. The rooms are spacious. Use of the pool is free, for an additional fee - fitness, sauna, massage, doctor. There is a disco.

The hotel is located in the center of the famous Bulgarian ski resort Borovets, 200 meters from the ski lift.

The hotel is 50 kilometers from Sofia International Airport.

Worst hotel of the year!!! For the fourth year my wife and I and friends (from 7 to 11 people) stayed at the Iceberg Hotel, and this is the last one!!! From the first time we fell in love with this hotel for its beauty, friendly staff, quality of room service and delicious cuisine. But every year it all became worse and worse... Only external beauty remained! We vacationed in "Iceberg" (Borovets) from January 20 to 28, 2014 as a group of 11 people. Upon arrival, we were given only one room out of five - in my wife’s and my name, the rest of the rooms were promised to be given in 2 hours. When my wife and I laid out our things and wanted to wash ourselves after the flight, it turned out that our friends should also live in our room (plus three)... At the reception desk they mixed up all the numbers and told us to solve our problems ourselves, change numbers, fix ventilation in the toilets (which did not work in any of the rooms), beds and bed linen (which were not changed even once in a week) were moved to different floors!!! All this was said in a rude manner and with mocking ridicule!!! Since we had paid in advance for our stay, we had no choice but to put up with this rudeness; we couldn’t live on the street... During the entire week, the floors in the room were never washed, the sink and toilet were not washed!!! Towels were changed only once!!! You had to be the very first for breakfast and dinner, as the food was practically not replenished afterwards!!! On the last day, we were “politely” asked to vacate our rooms before 12 noon or pay an additional 25 euros per room for 5 hours (at 17:00 we were picked up at the airport). And this despite the fact that the hotel was only a third full for the entire week (during these 5 hours no one moved into the hotel or, especially, into our rooms). Hotel "Iceberg" undeservedly assigns itself 4 stars!!! We kindly ask you to think carefully before choosing this hotel for your holiday!!!
